FEF receives $71,846 Texas Mutual grant!
How do you make an engineering teacher dance? Give them a $71,846 grant!🕺🏻 We are so excited to announce the Foundation has received a $71,846 Workforce Development and Safety Training grant from Texas Mutual Insurance Company! This grant will outfit the new FHS engineering lab with tools and resources like a laser cutter, 3D printer, drill press, bench grinder, pipe bender, band saw, plasma cutter and more to support the FHS engineering, rocketry and robotics classes. Thank you to Texas Mutual for making this big dream a reality for Friendswood ISD. We can’t wait to see the tremendous impact this generous gift will have on our students! 🛠🧰⚙️
