After an unusual couple days of, best I’m able to describe, anxious energy. I can say that music and play are our most powerful tools that we are able to harness. The movement of your body, the sound filling your soul and then watching your people have that experience…it’s magical. I was sharing with a friend who’s new to joining us in the music scene that for my husband and I so much has shifted in the last 5 years of him deciding to pick up that guitar again. Watch my hubby do his thing on stage is just so cool to watch his creativity continue to expand. I’m a BIG believer in play, I’ve done multiple talks on it and I practice what I preach. Something about getting yourself out of the pushed narrative of the US, work work work but giving yourself permission to play, create….thats how life expands. There are certainly doubts along the journey but I watch it proven over and over again that play can shift your life. Johnnys business has grown since stepping back into that creative energy, our relationship has expanded and the friendships are deeper. Listening to Tony Robbin’s yesterday on TikTok he says give yourself 10 minutes every day to step into gratitude, it’ll change your life. If you get the chance go see live music, allow that vibration to amplify through your entire body…that gratitude energy on steroids and watch your life shift. I’m personally very intentional about the way I watch music, I give thanks to the musicians, and then I remain present or I allow it to transport me to those inner child moments. It’s a moving meditation. I’m once again in this overwhelming state of gratitude. Thank you to the music for the gift of life.
