The Hitting Classroom
Are we teaching the same swing mechanics that the pro baseball players use?
Casey Smith - What do we do to adjust to a pitcher throwing faster/slower? (keep the same rhythm to your swing but start your load sooner/later to adjust to each pitcher…set your timing to his fastball)
Matt Antonelli - Timing - when your hitting mechanics will not allow you to be on “time”
Timing - MLB examples (start early and go slow)

Baseball Doctor - connection (back shoulder behind the ball) creates proper bat path

With proper hip hinge (load) and connection, you can be on the plane of the pitch for a little over 3 feet.
