Furniture making and house improvements. Your dreams turned into reality.
This is an after picture - forgot the before… the plastic handle was broken off completely and everything was green and rusty. Lots of work with my hands, but it was worth it to restore this WWII issued Case XX giant knife! I restored the sheath, too, and the customer’s grandfather carved every location he traveled with the military into it, so I’ll leave that to the imagination on their behalf.
I’m so excited!!! Time to plan a pilgrimage with a large vehicle lol.
I picked all of these up the other day and plan to restore them and sell most of them. There are 34 Marples Lathing tools, which is a ridiculous amount haha!
Restored and hand-sharpened (hand-filed) both of these Disston saws. No power tools were used in the saving of these saws!! The client will hopefully love them and requested they be good users and be cleaned up some. I almost did a full restore because they’re beautiful.
I really need to remember to take before pictures 🤦🏻♂️ 😂
Pretty proud of all of the things I cleaned up, sharpened, hung on handles (including handles I made), and the fact that I did a great job at my first Vintage Market!! Love it!
Last day to go see James at the Sycamore Lane Vintage Market! He’ll be there until 2PM.

I cannot wait for this epic Vintage Market!!! You don't want to miss it, and I will be there on October 1st and 2nd from open to close! 🙂 I've only done 3 Farmer's Markets, but I'm ready for this!
Here is a list of what I will have (80-90% vintage):
Axes, braces, brace bits, calipers, chisels, clamps, hammers, hand planes, hatchets, kitchen cutlery (steak, meat forks, etc.), kitchen knives (boning, bread, chef, filet, etc.), saw (around 3ft long), and I'm sure I am missing something... I'll have it all there and set up before everyone shows up at 9am on Friday. I hope to see a lot of you there!
If you’re in Newberry, Florida, stop by the Farmers Market to see James! He’s posted up with some beautiful *sharp* objects! ❤️
Throwing these two up on the Bay, separately of course! Two - 3.5lb Council Tool Classic Jersey Patterns w/ Phantom Bevels on 36” straight handles with aluminum pressed wedges. Brand new, never sharpened, waxed, oiled, used, etc. has tape goo only. PM if you’re interested. I’m listing one now and one in a few days.
Plumb 4lb Jersey Jetwing - swipe to see more!
Exciting find in the wild at an indoor flea market in Crystal River, Florida. Beautiful and rare Vintage 4lb Plumb Jetwing (or Blue Wing) axe w/ original handle. It’s pre 1954. Love it!!
Mann Lewiston, PA - Knot Klipper Warranted. I love how this turned out! Before (bottom) it couldn’t cut my hand if I wanted it to. Top (Convex Grind) could cut into anything on accident haha. Not sure whether to do a deep polish on the bit or leave it as is, which is hand filed and hand stropped. Anyone want it before I throw it up for sale? Message me.
Beginning of the prep for the Farmer’s Market selling in the future!
Lmk if you’re interested in these or any other tools. Happy to send pictures and provide fair prices!
I sold these Kelly Woodslashers last night, fun night!
