Did you know these two opened Oasis two weeks before the 2020 global pandemic hit? Today, you walk into the shop and would never guess the humble beginnings they had to endure. From being their own receptionists, to making stencils by hand for months, Paul and Maria started with a dream and four walls to bring to life what you know today as Oasis Tattoo Collective. The two met back in 2016, and after a trip to Puerto Rico in the summer of 2019, they were inspired to bring the warmth and comfort of the island to the Gainesville tattoo community. With his handy work and attention to detail, accompanied by her eye for design, the two built a home away from home for themselves and fellow artists to create freely; where clients can feel safe, respected and valued. We hope that you can see and feel the love put into Oasis every day. And if you haven’t visited us yet, we can’t wait to have you! Thank you for making this dream a reality 🙏🏝️💚
