Robinhurst Welsh Farm

3 year old Robinhurst Derby Day set out on his voyage this morning South to his very own little girl. Caught him by phone flash light out in the back of his pasture at 3:50 AM and walked him out onto our FM road to load in the trailer. He loaded so fast the hauler said he wished all horses were that easy. He’s already at his new home before the heat of the day and settling in great. Best wishes to that sweet boy.

We were greeted by a new face this morning. A huge palomino filly! Both are doing well and I’ll get more pictures after she unfolds more. Robinhurst Scribble Me In x Whispering Gold Charm

We have officially hit 320 days today so she can foal at any time. She doesn’t look quite ready although she is enjoying the curry comb on the underside of her huge belly because she can no longer reach. I can’t wait to see this cross! (Robinhurst Scribble Me In x Whispering Gold Charm) C**t and dilute filly will be available.

I love seeing updates and this golden girl is absolutely glowing! Robinhurst Aliwyn is all grown up and dappled out. She finished growing at 13-13.1h perfect for a Section C pony of Cob type.

Oh my it’s a stunning day in North Texas!! Instead of a patio, a frosty refreshment, and chips & salsa we opted for teeth day on the farm. 9 ponies were serviced and have new smiles thanks to Dana Kelley Equine Dentistry.. Here’s some pics of ponies enjoying their cocktails instead.

Robinhurst Derby Day https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/robinhurst+derby+day is a yearling Section B gelding. He is going through a growth spurt so he’s in “pasture condition”, but boy oh boy does he have a great temperament. One of the farm favorites as he makes sure to greet everyone.

We had a great time at the Oak Grove Angel Heart Farms Show this past weekend. Thank you Tracy Kujawa for hosting. Suzan Stevens powered through the driving and I provided the chit chat and GPS. We took 5 ponies so there was not a lot of free time between us but boy did they all look great! Robinhurst Scribble Me In was unfortunately the only A stallion so not much competition there but he went on to Grand & Reserve Grand Champion. Super proud of him.

Exciting news today!! GF Joyous Signal checked in foal to Cuesta Frito Bandito. Should be an amazing cross for 2023.

Gosh is 3 days old now and has mastered the art of stretching, napping, and sleeping. Has unfolded quite a bit but still has more to go. Napping in the shade is the name of his game. He has a beautiful well balanced hip & shoulder and I can’t wait to see him fluff up a bit.
