FGO would like to say Happy Women’s History Month to all women and women identifying individuals 💕! We hope that everyone, not only women, takes this month as an opportunity to learn more about the important role that women have in history!

Last week we had a GBM on the importance of understanding intersectionality! We had lots of food and a very fun A-Z intersectionality activity towards the end! We hope you enjoyed the event and we look forward to seeing you at our Allyship workshop tonight which is a continuation of our 2nd GBM! 💚💙

FGO will be having a food drive and all donations with go to the Food 4 Kids backpack program! Food 4 Kids mission is to identify chronically hungry children throughout the community and provide them with food and vital resources on a regular basis. We will start accepting donations on Monday :)

To help you keep up with FGO during our upcoming Fall week for First Gen Week, tune into our instagram takeover with our eboard members! We’ll be documenting our day as well as our first gen events starting this monday, so make sure you turn those story notifications on asap! 💚

Hey Everyone, this is Kylie! She is a first year Nursing major who is new to the first gen org! Everyone say Hi to Kylie!

Bring your friends to our upcoming murder mystery night! Groups of 3 will compete to solve the murder of Dr.Facilier, and the winning team will receive a prize. You don’t want to miss this night of mystery and fun, so make sure to join us next Wednesday during our First Gen Week series! May the best team win!

Students and Staff on campus have come to help guide first gen students and answer any questions you have while you’re on your college journey.
