The Blood Center in Stockholm loves tech and new ideas! Blood donors in Stockholm get a text message when their blood is given to a patient. Recently, they launched the web application “My blood donation,” where the donor can see their donation history and get digital awards. Another important invention is “Saving lives at work” (Rädda liv på arbetstid), where employers encourage their staff members to donate blood during paid work hours. Right now, they are trying Mixed Reality for donors.
