I love when clients send me pictures…this oak Victorian pedestal claw foot table was a great find… and with the two chairs, fit in perfectly in her sunroom within the banquette. She wanted a lighter top so it was sanded and re stained. in Pure and white wax with light distressing to age it, was her request. It’s simple but so classic!

Back to work after a hiatus for surgery!
New pieces have arrived in the Historic Smithville NJ. Sweet lil desk/Vanity got the Gustavian Swedish treatment with in Scandinavian Pink and layers of Old Ochre and dark wax. Original hardware was cleaned and treated to a dusting of gilding wax in Eternal.

Waterfall edges, new matte black and brushed gold deco style hardware and etched mirror detail make this piece transcend time! With my insanely busy life, my pieces are always shot in my shop…so not the pretty staging you all are used to! But upon putting this piece in , 3 people wanted it at the door! And I’ll be working to replace it in that spot almost immediately 😱🤦🏻‍♀️ She’s delicate and rustic all at once…..painted in multiple layers of starting with a base of Scandinavian Pink and layers of dark wax and brushed with shades of whites for a very Gustavian vibe. Finished with a spattering of fly speck for age. I’m in love with this piece…and I don’t think I’ll have her long😃 oh well, back to work 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️

Another custom project completed. Last picture is the before. This piece belonged to the lovely Mom and Dad! This will be used as a jewelry chest so drawers are lined in felt. I added legs, molding on drawers, raised stencil on sides with the chippy delft blue peeking through…and French Ceramics transfer. Hardware was from my personal stash from a previous piece…and received a makeover with matte silver wax. They were the perfect touch on this sweet lil piece! ®
