Wild Horse Designs
Welcome to the Wild Horse Designs Facebook! We make and repair horse blankets. We offer FREE pick up and delivery! It grew in to Trails West Blankets.
We originally started out as VO Enterprises in 1977. After taking 15 years off from the business we returned to our roots and became Wild Horses Designs. Since then we have made everything from horse blankets, to tack box covers to lamb blankets.
If you haven’t had your blankets washed this year it’s the perfect time to do so. We offer free pick up and delivery.
160 blankets in 1 week...yeah we just did that...can your blanket fairy do that 🤣
I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year. Please be advised that we will have a price increase as of 1/1/19. A new flyer will be posted as soon as I have it created.
Time to put a stop to the rumor mill:
Wild Horse Designs is NOT going out of business.
I received a text from a client today asking if I was. It actually looks like it is Nancy in Modesto with Horse Things.
Please be like this person that texted me to ask. Last time there was a rumor that we where closed I LOST 95% of my business in Brentwood and have NEVER recovered from it.
Thank you
Heidi
With all the robberies lately at local barns I wanted to make sure we are all on the same page.
I have about 50 barns on my list that I go to. Some I see more than others. Some I only see 2-4 times a year total. I wanted to request that you please notify your barn owners or managers that I will be comming by. Please feel free to let them know that i drive a two tone brown ford f250. If requested I can give you my license plate number if it makes them feel better. I just do not want people to think I am there for no reason.
Better to be safe than sorry and make sure all of our bases are covered.
I hope everybody had a wonderful holiday season, it was a busy one for us here. As we move into another year, we like to look back at our successes over our 21 years in the business and look forward to what is to come. January is a time for improvements and change. Every year I like to make one or two small changes that keep us moving forward. In the last 3 years we have changed the way our invoicing is done. We went from hand written invoices to printed invoices and even emailed invoices with the option to pay online! That is huge in this business! Well this year we have changed 2 things.
1. We are now using reusable bags to pick up laundry. It is a way over due upgrade. If you are interested in finding some for your laundry let me know and I can direct you to a website to order them. If you choose to do this please make sure they are marked with your name and and have your contact info inside them when I pick up. The bags will get washed with your laundry and your clean laundry will be returned in a clean bag.
2. If you have an email address for us to send invoices to we will no longer be printing your invoices. If you do not have an email or would like to still receive hard copies we will still send them.
Both of these are small changes but great changes. I look forward to another great year with all of our wonderful customers and can't wait to meet new ones.
This is how we dry blankets in the winter....
This isn't somthing I would normally do but this is my personal horse. Unfortunately I do not have time for him and he needs a job :)
8 year old OTTB -Beyond Tempting
dob Feb 20, 2007
16.1 hands
2 starts, 1 win
I got him as a 2 year old off the track with plans that he would be my next hunter/jumper. He did suffer an injury on the track, he cracked a sesamoid and his left leg but has never taken a lame step and has been sound for me for 6 years. I have had him for 6 years but with 3 kids and owning a business i have no time for him. He is broke but very rusty. He has been over up to 2 foot fences. He has so much potential to do great things for you in the ring. He will need an intermediate rider. He is great in a stall, pasture by him self or with other horses. He is easy on blankets too. He DOES NOT like cows at all, that is really his only vice. Sound barefoot with light work but will need shoes for moderate work.
