This sweet man of mine secretly took this video during our 11:00 service at church today. A few years ago, it was so rare for me to be outwardly expressing myself during worship. I literally feared raising my hands or moving at all. Now, I've tasted the victory that Jesus holds in worshipping freely and I will never go back! Until I joined choir a few years ago, I had no clue how many volunteers it takes to pull off one service, let alone 4 services every weekend. This weekend was my first time serving on the media team. I was super nervous about it and didn't know how I'd pay attention to the slides for teleprompting while actively worshipping but then I stumbled upon the remote. Game changer!!! I'm a mover so when I discovered that I could be active and teleprompt... It. Was. On. I absolutely love serving as the teleprompter! Practice was phenomenal and I was sooo excited for the first service, but then one mishap and I wanted to dive under the desk and never come out. Transparently, I really struggled after the Friday night service. Even though everyone was encouraging and reassuring, I felt that I had failed in one of the worst possible ways - letting down my fellow church member when he was relying on me. I barely ate or slept Friday night. My inner critic told me over and over how much of a disappointment I was and how I should just give up and go back to my normal seat and let the professionals handle the big stuff. I literally wrestled with the devil all weekend. I prayed and prayed and prayed. When I got up this morning I was determined to redeem myself (which was only needed in my mind). I got to church early and did what I do best, I apologized and took steps to make things right. I was still kicking myself about Friday but the perfectionist in me was determined to prove my worth by being flawless for both Sunday services. We nailed the first service and had a quick devo before the 11:00 service. That devo was truly God sent. She read the Parable of the
