TAMUG Food Pantry
The TAMUG Food Pantry is open to our full campus community. Location: 1973 Center first floor of Hullabaloo Hall, Rm 141.
Founded in 2019, the pantry aims to address and reduce food insecurity among all members of our university community. The pantry is open to all enrolled students, faculty and staff experiencing food insecurity at TAMUG. The pantry provides a resource based on need, please respect this recourse and visit only when you are in need of a resource we provide. Anyone utilizing the pantry should consider
Reminder as we are now in Ramadan, we want to make sure our campus community has access to food. The pantry is open Monday-Friday 9a-5p but also 8p-11p to help serve the campus community. If specific meals are needed to help meet our campus needs, please reach out to us here or via email ([email protected]) so we can set up meal needs for our community.
Wow! We are so incredibly proud of our supporters stocking the pantry.
Last week, Mona Hochman challenged her Bio 111 class to bring in items to stock the pantry and she expected around 200 items to come in but we were all blown away when her students showed up with 500+ items!
Dr. Steichen made sure we were stocked up on hygiene supplies as we head into spring!
AND!!! Our Galveston Aggie Moms sent out a call to their members last week which resulted in 17 Amazon boxes. Yall know how to truly support our campus.
We have been busy every day putting items into inventory and stocking to make sure our TAMUG community members know how much their community supports them. We don’t mind the work to make sure our clients feel the love.
So from the bottom of our Sea Aggie Hearts, Thanks & Gig ‘Em!@
Does anyone have a drawer full of masks from the pandemic?
Need a good reason to thin out that drawer?
We can take those off your hands! I have students looking for cloth masks and I’d like to add these to our pantry. We have laundry services here but I’d love if you could pass along already- cleaned masks 🙂
Looking to collect 30-50 masks. DM me here if you think you can help
