So apparently people are getting CLONED NOT HACKED on fb!! Changing your password does NOTHING! Heads-Up!! Almost every account is being cloned. One of Your pictures and your name are used to create a "new" Facebook Account. (They don't need your password to do this). They want your friends to add them to their accounts. Your friends will think that it's you and accept your request. From that point on they can write what they want under your name.
I have NO plans to open a new account!!!
PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT A NEW FRIEND REQUEST FROM ME.

šŸ  This 120 gallon beauty came here on Friday. Iā€™m going to start prefabrication on the filtration system, getting it ready for water. This will take about four or five days. Stay tuned and I will walk you through the process step by step.

In 1997, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) captured one of the loudest sounds ever recorded, which they named "The Bloop." The sound was loud enough to be picked up by sensors over 3,000 miles away. Originally, researches noted that the nature of the sound made it seem like it came from an animal, although no known animal exists that is large enough to make that sound. After 15 years, the NOAA concluded that the noise came from an icequake, which is when seismic activities cause a break in frozen ground. However, many people still question this conclusion, and The Bloop is the source of many conspiracy theories to this day.

What do you think?

Just completed this installation of this Beautiful 120 Gallon aquarium. The stand and canopy top are true Mahogany plywood. Both stand and canopy are hand rubbed oil and are not sprayed with lacquer of other unnatural coating. The stand has both European hinges and touch slowing magnetic closing latches. Next are the fish. Thanks Jackie and Paul.

Oceans have an average depth of 12,100 feet, and because light waves can only pe*****te 330 feet of water, everything below that point is dark. Seeing as water makes up most of the planet, this means that most of Earth exists in absolute darkness all the time.

FIVE HUNDRED YEAR OLD SHARK

Scientists have suspected for a while that Greenland sharks lived extremely long lives, but they didnā€™t have a way to determine how long. The age of other shark species can be estimated by counting growth bands on fin spines or on the sharkā€™s vertebrae, much like rings on a tree. Greenland sharks, however, have no fin spines and no hard tissues in their bodies. Their vertebrae are too soft to form the growth bands seen in other sharks. Scientists could only guess that the sharks lived a long time based on what they knew ā€” the sharks grow at a very slow rate (less than 1 cm per year) and they can reach over 6 meters in size.

One theory to explain this long lifespan is that the Greenland shark has a very slow metabolism, an adaptation to the deep, cold waters it inhabits. A NOAA remotely operated vehicle doing a dive off New England encountered a Greenland shark at a depth of 783 meters, but these sharks are known to dive as deep as 2,200 meters. Theyā€™re also the only shark that can withstand the cold waters of the Arctic Ocean year-round.

The slow metabolism could explain the sharkā€™s slow growth, slow aging, and sluggish movement ā€” its top speed is under 2.9 kilometers per hour. Because the sharks grow so slowly, they arenā€™t thought to reach sexual maturity until theyā€™re over a century old. That means removing mature Greenland sharks from the ocean affects the species and the ecosystem for many decades. Though the Greenland shark used to be hunted for its liver oil, the majority of Greenland sharks that end up in fishing nets and lines now are caught by accident. Reducing bycatch is critical in conserving this unique species.

Brain coral is a common name given to various corals in the families Mussidae and Merulinidae, due to their spheroid shape and grooved surface which resembles a brain.

Cuttlefish or cuttles are marine molluscs which are soft bodied, unsegmented animals. They belong to a class of marine life called Cephalopods, which also includes squid, octopuses, and nautiluses. Cuttlefish have a unique internal shell, the cuttlebone, which is used for control of buoyancy. Donā€™t you wanna cuddle up to this little guy?

You ever wonder what coral is exactly? Corals are marine invertebrates within the class Anthozoa of the phylum Cnidaria. They typically form compact colonies of many identical individual polyps. Coral species include the important reef builders that inhabit tropical oceans and secrete calcium carbonate to form a hard skeleton.

Fire corals are a genus of colonial marine organisms that exhibit physical characteristics similar to that of coral. The name coral is somewhat misleading, as fire corals are not true corals but are instead more closely related to Hydra and other hydrozoans, making them hydrocorals.

I really love the mid century modern style of this installation. This is a custom oval shaped 360 gallon aquarium that acts as the center piece of a Law Firmā€™s lobby in Century City, CA. Definitely, a conversation starter. Do you have any conversations pieces in your home or off that you love?
