**Resort Feature Friday**

Pop Century is a hotel that captures the unforgettable fads of the 1950's through the 1990's. With larger than life decorations from yo-yos to Rubik's Cubes there is sure to be something that will spark those fond memories from your childhood . Pop is a value resort and has lots of amenities to enjoy. Rooms range from $170-$250 depending on the time of year.

What are some of the benefits of staying at Pop?
This is a smaller value resort, so it won't be overly crowded and not a lot of walking
This is a Skyliner resort which is great if you are visiting Epcot and/or Holllywood Studios
Rooms were recently renovated.

I love them all for different reasons. Animal Kingdom is my favorite for a laid back relaxing park day, Magic Kingdom for the true Disney nostalgia, Epcot for great food and Hollywood Studios for great rides and shows.

Which one is your favorite?

If you've ever been to Disney in the summer, you know it's HOT! Here are a few ways to beat the heat--
*Take a break mid-day and go back to the resort. Not only do you get out of the heat for a little bit but you also beat those mid-day crowds
*Cooling towels and handheld fans will be your best friends. Both can be found on amazon and are great at helping to keep you cool
*Did you know you can take drinks and snacks into the parks? Take bottled water with you or a reusable water bottle. You can also get free cups of water at most of the quick service places in the parks
*Go see a show! A lot of the shows are indoors and can be a great opportunity to cool off while you enjoy some entertainment
*Make a dining reservation mid-day or go walk through a couple of the shop

All of these are great ways to try to stay cool during the summer heat!

Who loves a holiday week?!? I know I do!

Big changes took place this week with Genie+. Now there is a multi-park or single park option, subject to availability. Prices may now be lower at some parks compared to others. Guest will continue to be able to purchase Genie+ through the my Disney experience app the day of their visit.

I think this was a much needed change. Have you used Genie+ before? Thoughts?
