Happy Labor Day! Today I’m sharing two of my most recent bears I made. This is the Calico Bear pattern by funky friends factory. Instead of using the original shirt collars, I bought a pattern and resized it to fit these bears. I tried a different technique with the eyes and counter sunk them, which I definitely prefer now. The noses are hand embroidered and then I apply multiple layers of decoupage to seal and add shine. I hope you like them!

I’m super excited to share this cute bear made from a single adult t-shirt. I incorporated some of the vinyl from the shirt to make a moon and star appliqué to coordinate with the baby’s nursery. I’ve been experimenting with this new style nose, and I absolutely love the outcome.

Today I got to gift this tiny bear to a coach at my gym. Her Gran passed away wearing these green fuzzy socks. I never get to see the receiving end and it really brought a good feeling to my heart. I’m so happy I could make this for her.

For reference, this is the Signature Calico/jointed bear that I make from funky friends factory. The original size is 13” tall and this one sits around 7” tall. I wanted to incorporate as much of the socks as possible, so I covered the buttons with them to join the limbs.

Hi! I wanted to share my latest bear. He is made from a well loved hunting coat and work shirt. I wanted to incorporate something unique from the coat, therefore I added the pocket with a button on the back. He looks like he’s a happy hard worker 🥰 This bear is in honor of a beloved father who is no longer here with his family. I hope he brings a smile to their faces when they see and hold him.

Hi everyone! I’m overjoyed with the amount of people and groups referring my work. I just wanted to let you know that I’m still adjusting and healing from giving birth. I’m trying to soak this time up before I jump right back. I’m also going to start physical therapy again to help strengthen myself so I can bear standing and sewing for endless hours again. I greatly appreciate the kind words and look forward to working with you all again, I just need time to get back to where I was.

Everyone, meet sweet baby Coralee! She arrived via c-section on 2/11/21 at 9:29am, weighing in at 7lbs 13.8 Oz. We are all doing well, just missing sleep 😅

Good morning everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. We’ve been busy prepping for our newest addition, who will be here in TEN DAYS! I’ve sewn up a bunch of blankets, boppy covers, crib sheets, changing pad covers, and this name bunting. My new office space has been built and is ready to go once I’m ready and able to return to orders. My waitlist is capped off at the moment and once I return to orders, I will only be accepting a few at a time to help me adjust.

I hope everyone is enjoying this snow or at least staying warm. 😊

I hope everyone had a great holiday, however it was spent this year. This is my last order I did but wanted to wait since it was a present. The embroidery is something this loved one would say, which makes this personalization so much more meaningful.

My new office space is coming along very nicely and I will be in touch with those on my waitlist as soon as I’m ready to start taking orders again. I hope all of you have a wonderful new year!

New pattern!! I have made fish before but they are way larger than this pattern. This pattern was tedious BUT I do love how it turned out. It’s the perfect size!

Hi there! I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. Today I’m sharing a very special memory fox. This keepsake was especially hard for me to take on. I enlarged the pattern to incorporate as much as I could and actually found that it makes the perfect size for this fox. This keepsake holds so many special milestone memories and I hope her family is pleased and loves the way she turned out.

Hello! These two cute memory bears are heading home today. Two more orders to go and I will be taking my break and preparing for our little girl. Our basement is coming along nicely, which will be my new office space. I’m so excited to see how it turns out. My next order is going to be an enlarged Fox. There are so many beautiful milestone/memory pieces to be included and I’m anxious to see how it comes together. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving next week 😊

I LOVE how this bunny turned out. His sleeper opens up and his little tail in the back is so adorable. This was refreshing to make.

Hello! I’m finishing up the first half of this order I’ve been working on. I still have some assembling to do for 4 of them but I have this cute guy finished. I wish my pictures were better to capture how cute he really is. He’s just a tad too big for my photo box.
