Everyone at Michael Keen Motorsports wish to express our deepest condolences to the family of Justin Owen. This sport can be so rewarding and so evil at the same time. RIP Justin!

So as the season rapidly approaches we here at Michael Keen Motorsports must update our page. We unfortunately have decided we must remain parked this season with the pieces needed and the rising cost of everything it is not possible for us as team to field a car worthy of our supporters and crew. We encourage all of our fans,friends and family to support Eddie and Erika Wagner and the Mid Atlantic Sprint Series! They have put together another great year and continue to provide a series that the working man or woman can compete in. There are many deserving hard working racers in this class that deserve all our support. We will provide any updates if the tides turn, until then we will see you at the track.

This sport is wild and rewarding and this sport is punishing at the same time. We do it cause we love it.

Saturday was a strange day from the start with the weather wondering if we were gonna race at all. The skies cleared and we signed in. Started out promising as we took our fallen friend, brother, and crew member Darren Zanes' ashes for a ride during hotlaps. Went 2nd quick over all and was feeling good.
The heat race changed that as I missed my mark going into one and jumped the cushion hitting the wall sending me for a ride.

The RPM chassis, along with the safety equipment did its job and kept me safe. The car is destroyed and we must shutdown operations for the remainder of the 2022 season.

We are so sorry to disappoint our friends family and supporters. Can't thank Shane Smith Motorsports, CTI, the Paulsboro Diner and my crew enough for their support. Special thanks to my wife Samantha Gray Keen for putting up with my nonsense. Will see you at the track as a spectator until next season. Thank you one and all.

Also wanted to send out a big thank you to Richie Keller who came to the track with pop rivets and helped fix a blown out sideboard, at the request of Kristy Hicks! Thank you both!

It's raceday for Michael Keen Motorsports! We race today with heavy hearts. Mourning the loss of a friend, brother, dedicated crew member. Our team at Michael Keen Motorsports is made of of lifelong friends who all grew up together in Bridgeport, attending races and dreaming of getting the chance to turn laps. We will miss you Darren Zanes and you will race with us always! RIP brother.

A cancelation and a schedule change will allow us to race before July 9th! That's right Mike is off the boat and the Midatlantic Sprint Series will be at Bridgeport Speedway Saturday June 18th. See you at the Kingdom of Speed!

So the raceday report goes as follows. Apparently the highest pill to draw found its way to the team. Ran a little hot in the heat race so the crew went to work on diagnosing and remedying the problem. Only 25 cars signed in so everyone started. Phil started 20th and kept the nose clean gathering a 13th place finish. Stating the steering box locked up in the closing laps. Wanna thank the guys for showing up and to Phil Meisner Jr for wheeling the car and giving us a direction to go and a base to work with. As always special thanks to Shane Smith, CTI and The Paulsboro Diner for all their support. I would post pictures but apparently the 50 under is not very photogenic! See you all at the next race for us July 9th @ Bridgeport Speedway!

It's raceday Bridgeport Speedway for the Midatlantic Sprint Series. Although our namesake driver is at work tugging around the NY harbor we as a team decided to have Phil Meisner Jr drive the 50 Under today. Phil is a past winning driver and crew chief. With schedule conflicts and rain outs the Michael Keen Motorsports hot rod hasn't seen the track since March. Excited for the feedback we get from an experienced driver as we support our home track and racing series! Gotta send a big thank you to Shane Smith Motorsports, CTI, Paulsboro Diner, the crew and all who support us. It couldn't happen without everyone of you!

Well that's a wrap! Bridgeport has canceled tonight. I know we can all agree mother nature deserves to develop a big ol yeast infection!

It's race day with the Midatlantic Sprint Series at Bridgeport Speedway! Let's hope mother nature cooperates!

Started off fastest in our hot laps session- 5th fastest overall.

Started 3rd in our heat ready to hammer down. Unfortunately, the power steering line blew and covered our driver in hot fliud - ending our night.

Thanks to everyone who helped out in the pits and cheered in the stands. We will see you all at the next race!
