Our 2024 goals are to continue serving beautiful fun brides of course but we’d love to do more elopements. The 1:1 experience with a bride is just an unmatched experience.

No matter the reason or the occasion we will take care of all your glam needs.

Did you know lighting makes a massive difference when it comes to how your hair style or makeup looks. During your appointment we will work in our studio and then bring you out into the hallway to show you how everything looks in natural light. The studio lights can make the makeup appear a little more harsh, whereas the natural light makes it look more soft and natural.

We also take into consideration what type of setting you’ll be in. Will you be indoors, or outside? We want your hair and makeup to look amazing no matter the lighting situation. We want you to not only look great in photos but in person as well 😍

We have a soft spot for the moms… because we are both moms ourselves. We understand that when you plan and schedule family photos, how important it is to you. These might be the only photos you’re in with your kids. Unless you are lucky enough to have a spouse who captures photos of you.
Hair + makeup may not be something that is top priority for you, but what if you allowed someone else to get YOU ready? What if you got that little extra boost of confidence and you got yourself pampered so you can in turn take care of everyone else?

Shelby’s makeup kit must haves: Shimmer Eyeshadow edition!
I would say frequently I get asked for some sort of shimmer from almost every client. I have found my must haves to create that perfect shine shows up beautifully in photos and in person.
Shimmer and Glow liquid eyeshadow. I use this as a base for simmers. My favorite shades are:Starlight, Kitten, Bronzed Bell. With Starlight being my most frequently used shade
Next I top it with the Scattered Lights Glitter Eyeshadow. My favorite shades are: Aurora, Reflect, Smoke, and Foil. Pairing these two together gives that long lasting shimmer without it being chunky and messy.

What makes hiring a duo different than just booking a hair person and a makeup person & having them show up on your wedding day?! What makes US different ?!

Hours upon hours together in a car, building a business from the ground up, building a shared studio space together, having tough convos, laughing hysterically, venting, sending voice memos while balling your eyes out on hard days, communicating through looks and noises, acknowledging our faults and not super smart business decisions but then also celebrating wins and successes together; being able to put lashes on while I’m braiding,building our timelines together so that everything can run smoothly… that creates a relationship & bond unlike anything else out there

Oh- and we’re pretty fun to be around😆

One of my favorites parts about working weddings is helping the bride look and feel her absolute best for one of the most important days of their lives.

Meghan + Kinoa’s wedding may have been a little extra special for me. Kinoa was living with some of my good friends over the summer, and we hung out with them basically every weekend. So naturally when Kinoa met Meghan, Meghan was apart of this unit. I got to watch their love blossom from the beginning. Then when I was asked to do the makeup for their wedding it all came full circle.

Allie brought Meghans’s elfish hair dreams come true. So grateful to be a small sliver of such an amazing day.

When being asked what I think is my favorite signature bridal hairstyle, a few come to mind. I think it all kind of depends on theme, dress, brides personal style, hair type etc BUT I would say these are my top contenders for sure.

•a textured long cascading braid
•half ups with twists or braids
•low bun, I personally love ones that are a little messy or have some twisty texture to them.

& two non-negotiables that will elevate your look are accessories or flowers of some sort, and extensions.

I’m curious, what was your wedding day hairstyle?! Mine was a low messy bun with a Dutch braid on one side.
