What is your honest opinion of the use of AI Art?

If someone uses an AI engine but then uses some form of photoshop or digital creation tool to change and morph the image to their liking, is that okay?
Is it okay for someone, say an author or small business owner, to use an AI generator strictly for marketable images that they do not directly monetize from?
Is none of it okay?

Did you know that Canva's AI generator already has permissions to use all of the images/videos in the Canva cache?

🎧 Audio Books 🎧

QOTD - Do you think your rating/opinion of a book can/will be different depending on if you physically read it or listen to an audio book?

I'll be honest, I do not really like audio books. If I don't like the narrator, it can ruin the entire book for me.
I think that's what happened with Fourth Wing. . .I listened to the audio book on a road trip, and I had to DNF it. I think the reason, or at least a big reason, was because I could NOT stand the narrator. Maybe if I'd read it myself, my opinion of the book would be different.

I'd like to hear some honest opinions because I'm genuinely curious what everyone thinks.

Do you think content/trigger warnings are necessary? Or do you not even bother with them? Do they take away some of the surprise while reading a book?

Personally, I don't care that they're there. I skip over them because I don't want any insight into the story except what I read in the summary.

I just couldn't stay quiet about this anime series, Violet Evergarden. I'd had it on my watch list for the longest time and was taking a break from outlining this weekend, so I decided to watch it.

I wish I had the ability to read the light novel the anime series is based off of, but unfortunately, it's written in Japanese and no English translation was ever officially printed from what I've found.
