This month’s 4-H Wild Spartans Series will explore working in conservation law enforcement. Follow along as we protect wildlife and fish, rescue hikers and boaters, investigate poaching and illegal fishing, and more! Sidney Collins, Conservation Officer with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources will talk about protecting our natural resources by enforcing laws and regulations. Saturday, January 29, 2022 is the Big Horn Basin Drone Festival and Expo at Powell High School in Powell, Wyoming. Charge up your drone batteries and come on over! There are opportunities to fly your drone through obstacle courses, challenge one’s flight skills in precision mission challenges, demonstrate mastery of drone knowledge in our drone quiz challenge, test your coding skills by creating computer code for robotic drone missions, race one-on-one using a virtual reality drone simulator, and illustrate your video editing skills by submitting to our drone film festival.
Participate in one event or all six! Or, just come, watch, and cheer on the competitors. Hosted in part by the University of Wyoming, Powell High School, the Powell Tribune, and other enthusiastic partners, all the information you need is available online at https://dronechallenges.wordpress.com/
