Santa and Mrs clause will be here Friday , Saturday and Sunday from 5:30 till 7:30 and if slots fill up they will stay longer

Please message me
The day and time you would like and I will let you know if available and put you in the appointment book
Friday times slots are filling up fast so don’t forget to message me
Walk ups are also welcomed but might have to wait
Pets also are welcomed

We are taking donations and all proceeds will be going to a wonderful cause in

Joe and Ginger have decided to continue in cutting hair

Yes Joe has retired After 56 years of owning his own business and will be cutting his hours but we now will be renting a chair

We still will be Westlake hairstyling but moved to

1541 Bloomingdale rd in Glendale heights

The name of the shop is One Fam barber shop
But we still will be Westlake hairstyling and We will be taking our own appointments so those who want Ginger
I will only be working on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:30- 4:00

For those who want Joe to cut your hair joe will be working Thursday and Friday 10-5 and Saturday 9-3 please call Westlake hairstyling it is the same number

Even thought it was sad to say goodbye to our location

We have decided to keep cutting hair and Rent a chair at One Fam Barber shop at
1541 Bloomingdale rd in Glendale heights

Joe and Ginger will now be part time and there new days and hours will be as follow

Joe’s hours will be

To all our faithful customers throughout the years it is sad to say but we will be closing westlake hairstyling as of January 1st
We couldn’t have made it all these years without all of you, Joe,Charlie and Ginger think of you all like family but with great sadness it has been decided that it is time to close the doors

Let me tell you a little bit about my father

Joseph Visconti was born in Trabia, Sicily

He migrated to the United States at the age of 11 and by the time he was 14 years old he began working at his very first barber shop, from there he saved his money and took on his own barber shop at the age of 18 years old in Chicago ,he was there for 11 years.
He then moved his shop to Glendale Heights in the Glendale Commons on Bloomingdale Road. There he had his shop, Westlake Hair Styling for 4 years.

A new shopping center which is now West Lake Plaza began to be built. He enjoyed Glendale heights so much that he wanted to keep business in the neighborhood and moved his shop to the newly built plaza.

Joe quickly became the known barber for families and generations of people who once got their hair cut as a child, to getting their children's hair cut by Joe as well. After 43 years at the West Lake plaza and at the age of 76, Joe has decided to retire leaving 47 memorable years with Glendale Heights.

I couldn’t be more proud of my father who has worked so hard his whole life.He has been married for 55 years and raised 3 children and always made sure his family was well taken care of
But now it is time to give back to himself that he so much deserves

People always use to ask me how is it to work with your dad, well it has been the best! he is the most loving, giving, kind , religious and genuine man I know
Working with him my whole life has been such a pleasure and an honor and I enjoyed every single day that I got to spend with him

Glendale heights has also appreciated his service to there town and will be honoring him this Thursday January 5 th at 7:30 pm at the village hall meeting
All are welcome and would really appreciate you all to come and share this moment with us to show Joe your appreciation of his service for all these years
