7/11 is National Slurpee Day in honor of the Slurpees made famous by the 7-Eleven gas station chain! To celebrate, we served homemade slushies!

Thankful for friends, cooler weather and holidays to celebrate, in this case it was freezer pop day!!!!

Today's cooler temperatures allowed us to enjoy our morning outdoors while listening to classic tunes.

Crafts this morning, America's favorite pasttime baseball this afternoon... stars vs stripes (stars wore glasses stripes wore necklaces) followed by freedom pops.

We then played, "I love America JINGO!"

Our team strives to achieve a balance between enjoying ourselves and partaking in meaningful tasks daily.

Some individuals are demonstrating a greater work ethic during this morning's exercise class, but does simply showing up guarantee calorie burn?

We were blessed by a visit from Eight Acres Camp this morning.

We surprised a couple of our associates with a baby shower today. Our Beehive family is about to expand by four tiny feet! First babies are on their way for these growing families.

A holiday for everything and today was National Sunglasses Day, so guess what our craft was this morning?

I am grateful to have joined our group for lunch today. The company was pleasant, and the Cheddar Biscuits were exceptional... Any guesses where lunch was today?

This evening, we hosted our first annual Alzheimer's Gala, where we raised approximately $3,000 for our local ALZ chapter. Jason Nelson shared a moving story about losing his wife in September 2023 due to Alzheimer's complications; she was in her 50's. We are grateful for every person who donated auction items, participated in the silent auction, or joined us for dinner.

It's difficult to say whether it's a birthday party or dance party, but if your birthday falls in June, then we celebrated you by hosting a dance party!

We have a few tickets left for the event this coming Friday. Will you consider joining us for a great cause….

On this Father's Day, we wish all the dads in our world a wonderful day. Here are some of the dads that are part of the Beehive community...

As the owner, I am grateful to serve alongside numerous incredible caregivers. When a family moves in, they become our family. This energetic 102-year-old resident wished to attend her family reunion by the lake, about an hour away, and spend the night. We made it happen, sending her off in our company vehicle, accompanied by a CMA for the weekend!

We are fortunate to be part of the memories that were made this weekend!

Lunch by the grill, surrounded by discussions of classic cars, was a treat even in the heat. Wishing all fathers a fantastic Father's Day weekend!

Today marks the beginning of the week-long celebration of our home's caregivers, CNA/CMA. Beehive is fortunate to have the best! (Not all of our CNAs were present for this photo)
