Off Day workouts are back! Come on in for whatever you need… a recovery session, a strength focused workout, a conditioning circuit or all of the above!
Teaching the hip hinge/deadlift pattern to younger athletes is always a challenge more than the squat pattern. We utilize other exercises we do in our warm up and carry them over to our main lifts to help our athletes feel what they should before getting into a bigger lift. We utilized our drop ins and the cat/camel to improve our deadlift pattern. You may not know it, but our warm up exercises always have a purpose in the program to help you perform your main lifts later in the day! Shoutout to JP here for being a quick learner and understanding the coaching cues quickly and getting the pattern down!
How about these landings for our pre school and kindergarten teachers?? These two wonderful ladies always bring great energy and a great work ethic in the facility. Jumping or any other power exercises are important for everyone to do for the rest of your life. If you don’t use it you’re gonna loose it, stay active!
Dom had to ruin the video with everyone killing their bottoms up carries! All joking aside this crew has been getting after it (Dom especially) the past few months. We are excited to see the progress they have made continue into the school year and see it pay off for them on the ice, court, field and also in terms of being a better person! Start a good habit young! Move often!
Can you touch your toes? It seems that more and more people are loosing their flexibility and mobility to do things that everyone should be able to do - even some of our newer younger athletes. Michael here is 69 and is dedicated to moving well and you can see that it is paying off. When you work on the little things consistently you see big results over time!
