I know I’ve been super quiet on here recently, but it’s not cuz I’m quitting. On the contrary, I’m taking some much needed time to recalibrate after so many life changes and working reduced hours until 2 HUGE government contracts start later this summer.
I’m struggling to grasp just how big a deal this is and thrilled to announce we will be bringing syringe services to 5 rural counties every month starting this fall!
In the meantime, I’ll be hitting/hosting as many events across the state as possible, including Leadville’s first Pride ever today until 6! Very excited to start visiting this beautiful community more and more 💕
Hey y'all, that's me!! Training AEG staff and an anticipated 1.2 MILLION concert goers in Colorado on Fentanyl Awareness Day at the Mission Ballroom!
This was a really exciting event to be a part of, bringing so many passions of mine together and highlighting how inundated the art, music and service scenes have ALWAYS been with drugs, alcohol and overdose.
Plus, I've been going to AEG shows since I was 12, from hitchhiking to Denver for punk shows at the Ogden and Bluebird in high school, to seeing Pup at The Mission earlier this year, it's all coming full circle and I can't believe GBH is still playing the Gothic all these years later! I already missed a lot of shows this week cuz summer appears to be in full swing and there's too much to see and do, but I can't wait for the next one at The Mission!
We are very proud to announce a new partnership with on

Recovery Cards Project was created by Lift The Label to spotlight the importance of recovery. Working with artists in Colorado and nationwide, we’ve developed free greeting cards to celebrate recovery, the efforts of those working to achieve it, and the people who support and encourage them every day.
We are excited to get started adding new cards to our line, but we need your help to find a diverse group of Colorado artists, including artists in recovery. We are asking all interested artists to please submit their information to this form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeZ2BYPjTTWk8WZ6Bj0uwhKyBpHBfdUgf1HymL8RVv7sQwQIA/viewform by April 2. We will be selecting artists by early May, and we expect the card development to run through August. Artists will be compensated.
We are so excited to be able to open up this opportunity to share more words of hope and encouragement to the people who need to hear it most. Please share this opportunity far and wide!
Recovery Cards Project Recovery from addiction deserves recognition.
I made a meme 😜
I've got nothing on the students in Durango. This story is so personal, so powerful, these young people are so strong, so smart and they are fighting for their lives in a way a lot of adult activists struggle to, from a place of intersectional compassion. And they are MAKING WAVES!! From great tragedy, we can turn our pain into positive change for the rest of the world 🤟❤🔥

One overdose turned Durango teens into activists A single overdose event in 2021 was the spark that ignited a teen harm reduction movement in Durango. This is an account of two teens who were close to the individuals involved in that event.
Always love my action shots, but clearly I'm a little back-logged, I'll have to share the Durango news piece that had me crying first thing yesterday in a separate post. So excited and inspired by the amazing work happening in the SW corner and honored to be a part of it 🫶

I ain’t scared to admit I’ve been crying a lot today, cuz my job is super intense and emotional (and I have a cancer moon 😫) but I decided to lean in and feel it today. We still out here at The Meeting Place in Carbondale tonight and every 3rd Thursday from 4 - 6 PM with all that free stuff!
Also wanted to share with y’all the last thing I wrote before I left my house, “Every single human being's right to life, right to autonomy, right to recovery is why I get up and do this work everyday.” Sometimes the tears come from a good place ❤️🤟🏼💉
