I only sell the items I create and show. I am not able to duplicate the same pieces more than once unless I am creating a pair. I just finished up these pretty cloth pumpkins with real stems. They are available at Trackside Antiques in Selma. small(approx 51/2" tall) the larger one.(approx. 8" tall) Let me know if you would like one. By the way, these are made from the plastic pumpkins sold at Michael's.
Please join us!😊
Be sure to visit Trackside Antiques November 17th in Selma for the Christmas Open house!! There will be lots of goodies too.
Seasons change. Moving into winter a little early with this update. Handcrafted Wisteria and Macrame wreath. I personally pulled the Wisteria vines from my Mom's place. I have 2 more Wisteria wreaths curing. They should be ready to decorate now. This piece is $85 and will be for sale at Trackside Antiques in the near future. This wreath can take you all the way through the winter, it is not Christmas specific.
Daughter-in-Law Rebecca Rene discovered this rusty reddish tray that resembles a bottle cap on our picking expedition last Thursday and says, look Mom you can use this in a wreath or something. This is what I came up with. Fun stuff!! $89 (will be on display at Trackside Antiques in Selma soon.)

I've been seeing cloth pumpkins that are really pretty. This is my version with some pretty fabric and trim. It a small plastic pumpkin from Michael's. What do y'all think?
My Daughter-in-law and I went to a second hand store and found this frame that probably housed a mirror at some point not sure. Someone had hodge podged a cloth floral design on the back board. Removed it and painted with chalk paint. It sure made a beautiful chalk board!!
Getting ready for Christmas!! This is a A Farmer's delight! Cotton and Tractors!
I've been crafting and painting a lot lately and keeping our booth at the antique store filled. Taking a break from art and this morning son Paul and I peeled and sliced almost a half bushel of apples and cooked them for pies. He is in the kitchen doing his own thing right now...we even had separate pots of apples cooking. Dueling pots! lol Paul likes to do things his own way! And it's always delicious!
I made 2 recipes of pie dough to play with. And best of all I found some tiny dough cutters to use to decorate my pies!! They are so cute!! Having fun in the kitchen today!!
Vintage galvanized bucket with fall goodies. $39
Remember my branch I posted. I stained it and put polyurethane on the entire thing. First pic was taken after we got it to hold up in the stand. The finished project...Red, White and Bears. Some of These were some vintage ornaments I discovered in the attic. Subject to change decor depending on my mood and inspiration!😊
Something a little different. Cotton & Wisteria vine. This will be heading to our booth at Trackside Antiques in Selma soon.

Who's there? Fun Fall Pumpkin arrangement.
my newest creation...nice way to repurpose old telephone line insulators.😊 these will soon be displayed at Trackside Antiques in Selma.
I bought this Pumpkin from Michael's. It's large and it use to be orange. I used gray chalk paint and antiqued it. And added the lettering.
My dried Pumpkin went from bleached out and rough to Antiqued coolness!! What do y'all think? Did I do the right thing? Only took me 3 years to decide. I have a couple more to do but this was is in the best condition. My goal was to leave it as natural as possible with all its imperfectly perfectness.
I've got an idea for this beauty. Hubby Jerry brought this home to me a couple of years ago. It came from a tree by the Smithfield library. It's nice and cured out now. Just wait and see what becomes of it...this picture doesn't do it justice...close up is better.
I hope everyone is preparing for Hurricane Florence. Please stay safe. And pray this monster storm turns out to sea. Miracles do happen!
I have finally finished this painting on wood! I'd be embarrassed to say how many hours it took me!! Now to let it dry good and put a protective seal over it.
sneak peek...working my way down...you know...ladies first! lol
I never gave the female much thought because the male is so vibrant, but working with her has given me a while different perspective...this gal has so many subtle shades and colors that you can't really see from a distance when you look out your window.
I found this pretty piece of wood at the Vintage Market Days show last week in Raleigh. Felt inspired to create something with it. I have lightly sanded and stained it. It was really bleach out. I'm going to attempt to paint cardinals on it. It's about to begin...wish me luck!
well...I had a successful day...I didn't make any money but you know it's a good day when all your jars seal!!! Yayy Relish!!
Happy Sunday Y'all!😊
Anyone who knows me knows I like to do a little canning and freezing. Been a little slow Getting stared with so much going on but have managed to get some bread and butter pickles made. Hope to start on relish soon and fingers crossed get some tomato sauce made. Oh and I haven't even started my jam making yet....whew...so much to do!😟
So...this is an updated pic...sorry to those that commented on my 1st post. I had left out the stamens of the flower and went back and added them...see I have a lot to learn. I hope this gets easier because those stamens were hard for me!!! As well as the flower. Anyway, I'm trying to get back into painting and this was 2 separate pics I used. One of the hummer and my sister sent me a pic of her lilies. I need to brush up on my skills because I have an important picture I'm afraid to start. Thank you to those that made nice comments and sorry again it got deleted...I guess I'm technology challenged. lol
My latest project for the Wayne County Veteran's and Patriots Coalition. This is about 30+" wide. Pretty big! It took at least 7+ hours to build this Patriotic Piece. It was such an honor to do this for the Coalition.
I wanted to show the stages of my latest project for a customer.
