Two weeks ago, H&J had the most lovely wedding day on the water in Sauk City. The rain held off, the sun came out, and they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. on the banks of the Wisconsin River💍

It’s the best when clients become friends, but sometimes it’s even better when friends become clients.💕 I was honored to be a part of Carly & Chas’ big day in June and want to wish Chas a big happy birthday today!🎂
Their love for each other is infectious, whether its as teammates on the soccer field⚽(how I met them), teammates on the slopes🏂, or teammates in life, you can feel their energy.
Working with Carly and Chas to bring their vision to fruition was an incredible experience. They put heart into some of the special elements: from DIYing a board for their es**rt cards that incorporated their love for the mountains🌄, to ensuring their beloved furry family members🐶 made an appearance via their signature drinks, the things that help link them were fully present throughout the day.

Can’t stop thinking about how M&K’s wedding was nearly a month ago… It truly was the most beautiful day, apart from the rain the rolled through mid day. The skies cleared in time for their outdoor, wooded ceremony and left them with the prettiest evening to celebrate their love💕 So much joy shared between this fun-loving couple and their friends & family.

One of the most fun (and sometimes daunting) parts of planning a wedding is creating the seating chart for the wedding reception. 🪑🪑🪑
Big decisions are made here:
• Who will sit by who?
• Which way should parents and grandparents face?
• Can we mix members of the bride and groom’s family at the same tables?
• Where do we put the single’s table?
• Who gets along with who in the wedding party and where should they sit?
So many questions, so many decisions to make!
At Moments By Motto, we make this part of the planning process fun! During one of our final meetings, we will sit down and knock the seating chart out in an hour or less. Poster board and sticky notes allow you to swap an individual’s seating placement until it seems just right.
And then we LOCK. IT. IN.🔓
And just like that, you’re done and there is one less thing to think about for your wedding day!💍

Apart from reviewing your wedding vendor contracts and becoming the single point of contact to determine final logistics with your vendors, we put together a robust wedding day timeline so you, your bridal party and vendors know exactly what is happening when and where to be. Before starting Moments By Motto, I knew I wanted to receive an in-depth training on what exactly goes into planning a wedding, as they are unique to any other type of event that I normally plan. I wanted a deep dive on wedding etiquette and best practices for wedding planners.💍
Enter the Certified Wedding Planner Society ( ) - formerly the Bridal Society. The CWP offers a variety of certifications specific to wedding planners and wedding design consultants and is one of the most well-known organizations for wedding planners. The course covers everything from building a cohesive wedding vendor team to wedding invitation etiquette and running a wedding rehearsal.
I’m proud to say that I completed the Wedding Planner Certification and am a lifetime member of the Certified Wedding Planner Society! My hope is for my clients to feel comfortable and confident in my abilities and training to make their day as fun, easy and memorable as possible.

I’m an event producer for a local Milwaukee marketing and engagement agency, NEWaukee, and have decided to share my talents and passion for planning memorable and FUN events with a new industry - the wedding industry!💍👰♀️
I have a golden retriever puppy, Cleo, and an adorable but sassy tuxedo cat, Penny, who I love taking on walks.🐾That’s right - I take both of them! Penny in her cat stroller and Cleo walking. They both love it!
I have played soccer⚽️ for as long as I can remember and still do to this day. I also coach a variety of different ages and levels, from U9 girls academy, to girls high school varsity, and for the Wisconsin Olympic Development Program. Those teams keep me on my toes!
I have a love for traveling and concerts and love combining these passions whenever possible. Especially if it includes a trip across the pond to the U.K. or to see my favorite, Ed Sheeran.
Brunch is my favorite meal and am thankful Milwaukee has so many delicious spots to choose from (looking at you !).
