It’s been a while, but I just wanted to update. I love all the students in my classroom! We’ve had a great time getting to know each other!

I am still making runs to the airport when I can.

I had an early early morning run last Friday (9/29) to Love. I had 2 runs Sunday & 1 pickup last night (10/2).

Coming up, I have 1 drop off Saturday & 1 on Sunday!

I’ve accepted a position with Cleburne ISD!

It’s been a busy holiday/graduation weekend for me. 9 runs total to & from DFW & Love for super sweet people from DCBE & Granbury.
Several runs were picking up or dropping off visitors to Granbury who were in town for graduation. I love being able to help all the time, but especially when people are busy coordinating celebrations. It just takes a little off their plates.
Today we’re honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸

My second month in business was great!

Thank you to so many of my DCBE neighbors for supporting my business, as well as clients from Pecan Plantation and other Granbury communities, Stephenville, & Crowley. Also, thank you to Holiday Inn Express in Granbury!

In April, I had 24 runs compared to 17 in March!

My goal for May is 35, and I get most of my business from prior clients’ referrals which I appreciate SO MUCH!

Please continue to refer so I can continue to reach my goals.

I’m so grateful & my favorite part continues to be meeting wonderful people in our community. 💕

No riders today so we checked out another kind, and took advantage of dollar days!

What I enjoy the most about my job is meeting new people and learning from them through their experiences. Whether it’s about careers, families, travel destinations, or something else, I’m always excited to chat with my clients.

My second favorite thing is being in proximity to grab a meal somewhere I wouldn’t have otherwise gone.

Today for lunch I had a delicious Italian Beef! It looks wrecked because I tore it apart for the picture so you could see the inside. 😂

I’m still learning how Facebook marketing works, but it tells me I have to have 100 followers before it will give me insights.

Had fun at the sugar cookie decorating class at Board & Cork in Pecan Plantation this evening! It was fun, but I need more practice. 😆

Roald Dahl’s Matilda is a must see! I loved every second, every set, every prop, every song, and, especially, every actor. Perfection!

This week is a little slow for me, but I’m super excited about my runs.

Before moving to TX, I lived for 45 years in the same small town (population 3600) in northern IL.

One of my sweet school teachers, who subsequently taught my children, lives here now & hired me to transport one of her colleague friends back and forth to the airport! It’ll be great to have some time to catch up & reminisce on the drive!

Then on Saturday night, I get to drive teenagers back from a prom!

Last night my client’s flight was delayed in the air for 2 hours waiting for the storm to pass. I was waiting safely underground in Ft Worth with these cuties!

I just wanted to give some assurance to anyone who is considering hiring me that I will be there to pick you up, even through delays. I keep an eye on the flight and usually wait in the cell lot, but, if need be, I also have a safe place to wait with dear friends nearby. ❤️

My first two weeks in business have been fantastic!
6 trips to DFW at all times of the day and night for 4 wonderful clients. 2 were traveling for business & 2 had personal trips.
Tomorrow, I take a wonderful couple to Love in the afternoon, and then in the evening I go to DFW to pick up a gentleman returning from his business trip.

We have 4 children. The oldest lives with her husband in Denver, the 2 middle children, and our grandson, live in the Midwest, and our youngest lives with us.
