Happy ! Did you know these were what the first school buses looked like? These Grand Blanc school buses with Ford engines were bought for $500 each. The buses had wooden benches that ran from the front to the rear.​

Just an update for those that don't get into town often... Things are growing at the Pavilion! We are very excited to utilize this new addition this year as an outdoor classroom, and the Innovative Programs staff (BVL and Perry Innovation) had a cookout there this afternoon. The flowers and plants that the kids started last year are growing well and producing, and the arborvitae that didn't do so well have been replaced. (Two will be replaced tomorrow.) There are soaker hoses in place to water them so they've been getting lots of water over the summer!

2nd and 3rd-graders from Perry Innovation Center held their tropical-themed end-of-year party outside in the Pavilion and had a great time!

During the school year, the gardening club had students watering our new garden trees. They need lots of water because they're newly planted. Families of students have signed up to cover some summer dates, but there are some still available if anyone wants to help out this summer!
