At Turning Point Builders, making kitchens as functional as possible for our customers is very important to us! Have you ever heard of the “golden triangle” or “kitchen triangle”? This is when your three main work areas (the sink, the stove, and the fridge) are put in the formation of a triangle for optimal efficiency. This seems like a small change but it can make a big difference!

Meet Megan. She is the Office and Marketing Manager for Turning Point Builders. Megan grew up in the building industry and has always had a passion for it. In 2022, she graduated from Davenport University with a bachelor’s degree in business and shortly after married Chad. She started working for the company by helping build our social media and then took over the office work as well.  She enjoys cooking, design, spending time with family and friends, and doing the behind-the-scenes work to make all your new home dreams come true!

Meet Chad. He is the Project Manager at Turning Point Builders and has been working alongside his dad, Mark, for almost a decade helping turn the company into what it is today. Chad was brought up in this industry and has been learning the trade since he was a child. He studied construction management at Ferris State University and built his first home from the ground up in 2022 for him and his wife, Megan. He enjoys outdoor activities and getting to help new clients build a home that fits their needs, wants, and lifestyle.

Meet Mark. He is the owner and the president of Turning Point Builders. He started the company in 2007 after many years of working in Tool and Die. For over a decade he also operated Turning Point Missions which brought clean water to Haiti. Mark is the kind of person that will become your friend instantly. All his contractors, suppliers, and clients love working with him! If he had to choose between a new build and a remodel it would be a remodel because he enjoys being able to see a space transform into something completely different!

One of our new builds has started! This week they started digging and putting in footings and walls. Can’t wait to see what this looks like finished!

Shoutout to for all of the help today!

We are sending our thoughts and prayers to everyone affected by the hurricane in Florida. Mark, our president, headed down to Florida on Tuesday to help a long-time client gut and fix one of his rental properties. This is going to be a long process so stay tuned for progress photos.
