We like to mix things up in the summer at the Well. We take a break from out normal gatherings and do some activities together. We had the best time last year at our hike so we wanted to bring it back!
Will we see you there!?
In the book “Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy,” the author describes a danger in suffering – that we can go silent before God. He describes the practice of lament, of being honest with our complaints and requests. He describes holding the tension of the truth of who God is, as a way of staying in relationship with God through suffering.
This week when we heard Rachel‘s story at The Well, we were reminded of the importance of crying out to God in our most desperate moments.
He sees us, and he hears us. He cares. His ways are not our ways.
For those who are waiting for the answer, or the answer was “no” - we cry out with you for heaven!
“I’m gonna sing in the middle of the storm
Louder and louder, you're gonna hear my praises roar
Up from the ashes hope will arise
Death is defeated, the King is alive”
We are so thankful to Rachel for sharing her story of suffering, hope, and God peerforming miracles.
THIS Wednesday! Join us at The Well as we hear from Rachel!
Rachel is a stay-at-home mom to two wonderful kids, has been married to her husband Grant for almost 10 years and loves everything about summer. We are so excited for her to share her story of how God brought the body of Christ together in so many ways to bring light into dark places.
She hopes that her story will encourage you that God works every detail of your suffering into His purposes for His Kingdom.

Last night we were reminded yet again of the power of testimony and community.
God showed up with so much attention to detail - placing each woman in the right seat, with the right people, creating safety and connection.
The stories we have heard from around the tables leave us speechless! We echo the apostle Paul in the desire to “fall to our knees in worship” when we think about the personal love God shows us! ❤️

Kayla’s name may sound familiar to some of you, and that is because she is the director of The Well in Lansing!

Last night at The Well we heard from Linda Thompson. She shared with us her story of abuse, heartbreak, and many trials. Her life is full of miracles and places where God met her and showed her the plans he had for her life.
Her story was a reminder of God's provision in our lives, even when we struggle to see it amidst pain.
Linda said that she once had been a fence sitter, but God was calling her to be a water walker. What is God calling you into today? Where do you need to see his love and provision in your life?
It was a blessing to be together again last night! You are always welcome at The Well. ❤
