Little Concrete Removal for the crew on a fine monday morning.

Rivian Project Complete ✅.

Great friday to be at work! The crew pulled the wires from the transformer to the switchgear and terminated the wires in the switchgear! We also excavated and exposed the main power out by the road and we are ready for the local power company to cut over power and turn on the service for are Rivian Site. Final photos coming Monday next week!

Rivian Project 97% complete. Today the crew had a very productive day. We got our transformer delivered! The crew installed new asphalt were we trenched across the parking lot. Put up all parking signs for the charging dispensers. Terex Fencing is going up nicely and making the site stand out bold! Tomorrow, we will pull the wires from the transformer to the switchgear and wire them in install stone into the fenced compound sweep up the parking lot and call this job done! 

Wrapping up the finishing touches on our Rivian project in Granger! Today the crew began setting fence posts for our Terex fence to incase the Electrical Equipment , We also installed all the sign posts into the parking bollards signs going on in the morning, installed safety bollards around the transformer pad, tomorrow we will set the transformer and wire main power into the switch gear. By Friday this project shall be completed. Stay tuned for the final update on this project!

Rivian Project 95% complete. Today we started off with a early morning wire delivery. Then the crew began pulling wire and wiring in the switch gear and power distribution cabinets. By midday the crew began pulling wire from the power distribution cabinets to the charger distribution pads. Then we installed all charging dispensers and began to wire them in also and installed the light pole. Almost complete with this project stay tuned for the end results!

The crew had a pretty productive day! Rivian project 80% complete! We started the morning off early landing all the power cabinets and switchgear then fastned down everything to the equipment pads. Back filled and compacted around the rest of charging dispenser pads. Tommrow we begin final grade, wiring all the power cabinets between the switchgear. And the weather made it a great day to be at work! Final results coming soon! Then onto the next one!

Today we took delivery of our two piece switch gear and power distribution cabinets for our Rivian project! The switch gear came as an empty shell and the crew installed all components inside the switch gear and merged the switch gear into one! We also took advantage of the great weather over the weekend to backfill and compact around the equipment pads and some of the charging dispenser pads still some back fill left due to ground being soaked with rain last week and last night. Tomorrow is crane day! When we set the power cabinets and switch and begin wiring everything in!!!

Want it to rain? Just order Concrete! Rivian project moving right along! The crew battled the threat of rain moving in this afternoon so we started the day off with an early morning pour. Got the equipment pads, transformer pad, all parking bollards, and light pole sonotube poured. Weather depending by the end of this week we shall have everything back filled and graded. Then next week begin setting the transformer, switch gear, and power distribution cabinets for the charging stations.

Rain or no rain the crew is out making amazing progress on our Rivian project out in Granger! Today the crew started to backfill the main line trench but the rain had other plans. So the crew switched gears and installed the last and final conduit run for a charging dispsener that will accommodate electric vehicles that are towing trailers that need more space to park.

Can you say conduit? 1,200 feet of 4” to be exact! The crew began excavating the main line trench today to where the power will leave the switch gears and feed the charging dispensers. Each conduit will supply a charging dispenser. Tomorrow we finish with the conduit then begin back fill and compaction. Then moving steady towards pouring concrete towards the end of the week . The crew surely put in work today!

Site Layout is Complete ✅. Today the crew began running conduit. 2 4” ridged sweeps out towards the road for the main power feed coming into a 2500 kVA Transformer that is to be installed. . . Then 4” PVC Conduits for a total of 8 runs each to feed the switch gear and Electrical Charging equipment

On their Install and Construction of their new Charging Dispensers for their Electric Vehicles in Granger Indiana . Today the crew started phase 1 fencing off the construction site, mobilized equipment,materials and began stripping sod carefully to minimize the disturbance of the construction site. Stay tuned many more updates as the crew continues work on this project!

We’ve been busy and have been doing a lot of electrical work the last few months all over Indiana/Ohio. Next week we are headed to Kentucky to begin site and excavation work for 6 brand new cell tower sites!

Final inspection tomorrow afternoon! Another great job completed onto the next!

Today was a muddy mess at our job in Oregon Illinois. We took delivery of the new 35kva generator and a 7,000 series ats. Now begins the wiring portion of this job which is going to be very complex since the building has two sources of power coming into it but we’ll get er done!

Making progress on our job in Oregon Illinois. Today we had a very long day. Started at 3am by cutting power over to the back up generator. Then we began hand digging around the building for a new natural gas line, new conduit for the ats, and two conduits for low voltage and monitoring wires. Back filled. Set up concrete forms and rebar for the generator and ats. Ready for concrete in the morning.

This week we are working in Oregon Illinois. Replacing a old back up generator with a new 35kva generator for a Comcast fiber optic shelter. Today we began clearing out the site. Putting in back up power until we can get the new generator pad poured and install the new generator and external ats cabinet. Then finally dress up the site with stone and a new chain link security fence! Completing a busy schedule before the snow starts to fly!
