Tie rod has left the chat! I’ll be making a new design shortly to better capture the threads of the heims. The jam nut came loose and I didn’t catch it quick enough. This slowly wore the threads out, eventually ovaling them. I just swapped it out and kept going, a broken tie rod is the least of my worries. I count this trip successful 🤘🔥

Big chillin! Got all the small s**t sorted out with the links, next up is to finish the bed cage and put the sliders back on 🤟

Just itching to wrap up projects so I can get back out and wheel!

Getting everything sorted out and where I want it 👌, those who are interested I’d love to hear feedback or suggestions.

So far zero up travel loss,18-21” of clean travel and articulation depending on shock setup. I made the crossmember section overlap over the frame for those running boxed frames, all heims/misalignments except trailing arm wobble stop are the same for easy trail repair or maintenance. All tubes and plate will be laser cut and broke for an easy install.

I’ve been working with my new bandsaw holder and this thing rips. I’ll be throwing the chop saw in the trash 😝

Back again working on some more link brackets! I had to re wire all my servo motor cables, two out of four vga connectors were failing so I just wired it directly to the computer. A little more of a hassle removing the motors but worth the reliability 🤌

Had a great weekend at windrock, the rear feels amazing now. It needs a spring swap but it’s super stable and strong.

Everything is back together and running amazing! The truck feels dialed with the tune from John Arriola . The truck is super stable and tight, and way more balanced with 10” of up travel and 10” down. Next up will be a new stainless exhaust from the headers back and finish the rest of the shock towers.
