We are so proud to work for a local, privately owned business that loves to pour back in to our community! Yesterday was a great day to support the P.H.I.L. Foundation and participate in the Little Ironman.

Poor Dr. Baskett was caught in a large shower during her 5k. And we hope Dr. Bixler takes a few showers before she comes to work on Tuesday after her mud run 🤪!

Heartworm Disease 🫀
Heartworm disease, a potentially fatal illness, stems from mosquitoes - a non-stop presence in Tennessee. If an infected mosquito bites your pet, it can transmit heartworms, causing symptoms like coughing, exhaustion, and weight loss. However, there are simple prevention methods available, such as Interceptor plus for dogs and Revolution Plus for cats.

Getting behind on our employee of the month didn't stop us from choosing the best candidate! Our employee for April is Evie Jeffers, an exceptional veterinary assistant! Since joining us in March 2022, Evie has embodied our core values and been a shining example for her peers. Meet Dr. Rebecca Bolton! Dr. Bolton is 1 of 6 associate veterinarians we have on staff at our clinic and we couldn’t be more happy to have her! Here are a few things about her!🩺
Growing up on a longhorn cattle farm in Pittsboro, North Carolina, Dr. Bolton developed a deep appreciation for animals from a young age. She went on to study at Washington and Lee University and graduated in 2012. Following her undergraduate degree, Dr. Bolton spent three exciting years working with bison (her favorite) in Yellowstone National Park. She then pursued her dream of becoming a veterinarian by attending the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2020. Dr. Bolton's love for all creatures, big and small, is evident in her work, and her infectious laughter and joyful personality make her a beloved member of our team. Thank you Dr. Bolton for caring for His creatures and serving those who love them! ❤️🐾
