Myrtle Beach City Councilman John Krajc *Official Page*
So excited for this project in our downtown!
Wasting away in Myrtle Beach: Margaritaville plans to build resort downtown Margaritaville plans to build a new resort near Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach.
To my family, my team, everyone who voted yesterday, and those who helped strengthen me in a variety of ways these last few months for the future, I say thank you.
The outcome was not what we hoped for, but we left every bit of us on the field, and that’s what counts. Of course it hurts, and it should. If you have a passion for something, and you give it your all along with the best you know how to give at the time you give it, then every single feeling you have is okay.
Before my time on city council and during, I have committed myself to a life of service. That will not stop after the end of my first term. I am looking forward to the opportunities that will come to continue giving back to the community in which I live, and beyond.
Congratulations to Bill McClure for winning a seat on city council in our great city. I wish you the absolute best and may God grant you the strength, patience, and wisdom to make the best decisions you can during your time of service.
It’s Election Day, again! We need all the help we can get today to spread the word and drive turnout.
It takes a village.
These people are Myrtle Beach passion machines! Friends and volunteers who have come together to get us through the end and all become family in the end. A few not pictured who are equally important and appreciated. I am beyond grateful for this team of people who stayed with me making calls and sending texts tonight and over the last two weeks. Y’all did work!

Side note: I’ve nicknamed Mike “The Godfather” because of how much positive impact he has had on our community and on council during his time serving.
Get to know me, Part Three!
I ride, and I love preserving history when possible. My first ride on a motorcycle was at a young age on a Harley, and then on the back of a Yamaha that my dad took me on.
About two years ago, I found this 1981 Honda XL250S at an auction. It had been in the woods, neglected and unloved. Full of rust and not a lot of hope. I bought it for a little over $100, and set out on a full off the frame restoration project. In the meantime, I took a motorcycle class at Harley Davidson that was taught by police motorcycle instructors. With the help of several wonderful contractors and doing some of the work myself, along with much research to find all the needed parts from around the world(California, New Zealand, Canada. England, etc.) after about 6 months, it was finished.
I kept everything true to original history except the one touch I added was black powder coating on the rims instead of the anondized steel.
ENDORSEMENT ALERT! Jess Sagun, owner of Winna's Kitchen, on why she’s voting for John Krajc November 21st.

Get to know me, Part Two!
I am a beekeeper. Ever since high school, when I took classes in agriculture in North Dakota, I wanted to have honeybees. This spring I took a class with the Blackwater Beekeepers Association in Conway, and started two hives right in my backyard. I even harvested my first honey late this summer! This is very rewarding, even if it requires getting stung here and there.
Feel free to save this photo and share!
I haven’t done a great job of letting folks see “who John is,” so I want to work on that.
Sunday morning traditions! On Sunday mornings, my dad and I get up early and go to breakfast. Just he and I. My dad is a rock for me, and even though we butt heads sometimes(who can relate?!), I cherish the moments i get to spend with him.
To my family, friends, and neighbors near and far that are veterans, thank you for your sacrifice for our country.
This is what patriotism looks like. Today we dedicated the new World War II Memorial in Warbird Park in Market Common. We were graced with the presence of 11 World War II veterans. What an honor to be a part of making this happen for them and so many others.
Great news! Early voting for the city council runoff election is happening November 15-17 (THREE DAYS ONLY).
1515 4th Ave. Conway
Long post and special message from me, John Krajc.
We made the runoff! Familiar story, right?
I want to first thank the team of people that pushed me and pushed for me these last months. My family, friends, volunteers, manager, contributors, and more. This is no small task and no little time burden, and without them I would not have made it this far.
Second, I want to thank the people across our city who worked the polls yesterday and those citizens who went out to vote. There were issues with machines malfunctioning, lack of good visible signage at polling places, and a couple with horrible parking that would only make the most dedicated voter frustrated. I'm making calls to work toward this being improved not only for Tuesday, November 21st, but hopefully for elections beyond that.
Congratulations to the winners, Mike Chestnut and Debbie Conner, for all their hard work. Congratulations to all those who did not succeed in the election but did succeed in proving that they are willing to put their necks out there to make our city the best city on the East Coast. Please thank Randall, Myra, Stuart, and Kenya for their willingness to serve. Finally, I will say congratulations to my opponent in the runoff, Bill McClure.
These next two weeks will not be easy. They will be filled with ups, downs, and every level emotionally and physically in between, but we can do it. I need to do a better job telling my story that I did not share enough with people, controlling my narrative, and running my race.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, says you have to have a clear vision of what you want to achieve, and you have to work your butt off.
So, I say, let's do this!
