Applers... My new spot for vintage. Charlotte, NC brings us East 8th Vintage. Amanda, the owner is an expert at new finds and great buys from antiques to clothing to vintage relics.

My buy, 60s low balls, Jackie O publications from Ladies Home Journal and People with a full tea set. Great place.

Applers...Look what I resurfaced after at least a year. Vintage to Vogue, great spot to chill and get your next piece. Hat: $16... Mui Mui: $120 and a reheel. Geez. Buyer's Remorse may have found guilt. Maybe a Mimosa after shopping. Wow... Priceless.

Valentine's Day is coming and we've all been struck by love's spell. Jamilla's Apple does not disappoint with this month's version of TLC. Day Spas are on deck new to North Carolina (ten years or less) as well as the featured story of The Brow Lounge out of both the Triad and Lake Norman. What's the V-Day Plan? Singletons, according to our old fave (now to 45-50 year olds) would check to make sure that each were not hanging from a shower rod while those with beaus prepare for a night out filled with roses and supposes.

But, either will do as we love each other on one day of the year in a way that is uncanny and Oscar Oglethorpe is not without hearts to give on our upcoming spec-tacular day

Who's new on Jamilla's Apple? Tanneshia Dukes, a bonafide star. The DNC has not seen heat like this in a while. Young, energetic and hopeful in the next race in District 59. Applers.... PIZZA! It's that time for Christmas tidings and home cooking in North Carolina with all of the fixings. But, in the meantime, in between time, pizza is in order as we grow closer as our mothers, sisters, nieces and cousins prepare for Holiday parties and Dinner in celebration with Christmas cheer.

Charlotte is on tap for Pizzeria Omaggio's Proscuitto Funghi and a glass of Chianti rested Jamilla's Apple On gourmet pizza as I actually ran into the place inadvertently looking for a light dinner after work. Great Pizza!

Our very own O Henry Hotel has not made the world's best, but an in house afternoon tea with all of the fixins is just what the doctor ordered in our North Carolina. As one of Carolina's finest, we are thrust into old world charm and luxury with one of America's most renowned short story writers as his guest to the 4-star hotel of his namesake.

Applers... It's event season. As we roll out of Summer to Fall Charcuteries, we have a limited time before we turn up the heat of Winter holiday event. Last stay, I would say thru November... But, some like Charcuteries year long. Now, rather than go for our boards, why not up the ante to table wear like this one by Woodson Charcuterie in St. Louis, MO. But remember, they may have to tailor it to size like in my case as they prepare for a, wink wink, 6-foot rectangular snack. And of course tier depending on the occasion.

Applers... One of my favorite stores is closing in Charlotte. 1/2 Off Everything! Knick Paddy Whack give Jamilla a home. I bought a white tin cooler, a condiment dish and a sponge holder. Tons of of stuff going fast down to the fixtures. One more week.
