Often times I wonder,
If my dreams are worth catching.
Or is it just the thrill,
Of me chasing what my doubt is steady snatching.

See time forever favors the young,
But bends for none of us.
So it’s vital to take every step with purpose,
Because one wrong move can leave you crushed.

Many believe that age sprouts wisdom,
But in reality it’s the curse of experience.
A double edged sword that devours you,
Hands you a few blessings to keep you hesitant.

Like—if I’ve found comfort,
Why would I want to move?
As my patience,
Slowly turns into procrastinations’ groove.

How do I reach,
The trauma of the child buried within?
He’s begging for a savior,
But my fear won’t allow my soul to extend.

Opportunity knocks for change,
But only the brave answer.
The will to heal is a decision,
But the plague of fear spreads like cancer.

Some flaws are like scars on your back,
Unnoticed until the eyes of truth help them reflect.
Then you’re stuck,
Staring into a blank reflection… a mirror tainted with regret.

Forever wishing,
That the idea of perfection was true.
Yet it’s just another superstition,
That you somehow let control you.

One decision can change a lifetime,
Especially when the right minds connect.

A handshake that silences chaos,
An agreement that makes the Heavens rejoice.
Their power is incomparable when they unite,
Splitting more hairs than alopecia running it’s course.

Breaking barriers becomes a daily duty,
They’re never hesitate to seek change.
Peace is like a puzzle,
Scattered pieces that we must rearrange.

Be willing to strive,

Why worry,
When you believe in God?
Show your circumstance that your faith,
Is not just a facade.

Tears rolling down her face,
Racing to the ground.
Who’s to say that her pain,
Was meant to start a harvest?

A silent cry for help,
One hidden behind a joyful phone call.
A laugh that lightens spirits,
But is too afraid to be heard.

I’ve found peace,
In the middle of chaos.
Sitting all alone,
With nothing but silence.

Being a father is a beautiful thing. You get to share moments with a little version of yourself, as you watch them grow right before your eyes. I cherish moments like this pictured below—simply because it’s pure & will live forever in my heart. I can’t wait to create more groundbreaking memories with my child. 💙🖤
