Why the name? Morpho means change, modification, or transformation. When I was little I wanted to be an entomologist. I was fascinated by all things creepy-crawly, but I especially loved the story of the butterfly. Starting as a caterpillar and then working to transform themselves. The morpho butterfly in particular speaks to my business. Brown and simply beautiful on the outside, hiding its bright shiny blue beneath…that’s how I see the furniture I flip, just waiting to reveal its beauty!
