I go to The Willows of Easley once per month to both their Assisted Living and Independent Living facilities to teach educational programs on a very large variety of topics. It is nothing short of a pleasure to be there every time. Thank you to Tamra Elaine Imundo for allowing me to come this past week to continually educate and have some fun with your residents.

One of my favorite things about working for Humana is the ability to do educational events and give back to my community. At the end of September, I had the amazing opportunity to do a “Cooking for One” class at Senior Action in Greenville. This class is designed to provide tips and ideas that make cooking for 1-2 people at home easier and more effective. I had my best turnout for attendance at almost 100 people! After my presentation, we had Executive Chef Drew Erickson come from CAMP Greenville to prepare us an excellent sampling of a Fall Spinach Salad. Each attendee received a portioning plate, measuring cup, and a recipe card. What a wonderful way to kick off the Fall Season!
