Since launching VanRock in 2022 as a private real estate firm we’ve been very fortunate with the level of success we’ve had. In 2024 we launched our first fund dedicated to building single family homes that are affordable for people local to Greenville-Spartanburg to buy.

That fund was fully funded in 15 days. Over the next 24 months we expect to build and sell 60-75 homes in our market. Many of these homes will be purchased by first time home owners. I couldn’t be more proud of our team Vanrock Realty and VR Homes for what they’ve been able to achieve in such a short amount of time.

With that success, we have really exciting news coming at VanRock Holdings, LLC in the next few weeks I can’t wait to share.

Spartanburg, SC announced a $250M redevelopment project to include a brand new minor league stadium in the heart of the City, right next to many of our multifamily investments.

A year ago we decided to increase or holdings in Spartanburg. 6 months ago we doubled that increase with the purchase of additional multifamily properties in the area.

Due diligence is more than just knowing the age of a roof or when the HVAC has been serviced last. It’s also about seeing a 16 acre undeveloped site adjacent to your property and taking the time to see who owns it and what it may be used for in the future.

Investing in multifamily real estate is more than buying a property. It’s an investment in that area and that community. With all of the uncertainty in the market, it’s nice to continue to deliver good news to our investors, it’s even better when it’s additional upside you left off the OM.
