This is such a small reason why you should hire a professional florist to help on your big day! Small but impactful details matter and shouldn’t be added to your family & friend’s to-do list!

When you hear, “I’m just going to DIY my wedding flowers the night before!” 🫣

There are so many reasons why this will not turn out the way you expect. Flowers are a luxury item. They’re not a necessity and it’s okay that you aren’t able to spend $8,000+ on flowers.

HOWEVER, just because you’re on a small budget does not mean that you should go to Trader Joe’s the night before and expect to make all your dreams come to life.

Did you know that you can save money by picking up your florals? This means there is no setup from us and if your require an install, you’re on your own. But for the bride on a budget that only wants bouquets and centerpieces, you can pickup and save $$$

So many florals designers have a minimum and that’s okay but in this season of my career, small orders are welcome! Now if you’re a bride that wants $10,000 worth for $1,000, 🚩 🚩 🚩 then I am NOT your gal. But realistic, small orders, don’t scare me.

Thank you all for being so patient with me this weekend! I have multiple inquiries for prom, several brides inquiring about dates, arrangement requests, and private event inquiries. BUT, when you’re sick, you’re sick. I’m fully blaming my 2 year old for bringing yet another bug home and my immune system is slacking off since being out of the classroom for 2 years now!

This photo from was one that I’m so thankful for. The night before a wedding this weekend, I was so sick. You know the kind where you contemplate and reason with yourself if you need to actually go to the hospital? Ugh! Austin stepped up bigger than ever before in my floral career and when I asked him if he could go setup with the my dearest friend, , he didn’t hesitate.

I left my plans with both of them, they did fantastic (I FaceTimed in to double check), and he still came home to do clean up from all the florals and take care of me and our naughty little toddler.

Florals aren’t a solo task. You can’t call in a substitute like I could in the classroom. So my God, I’m incredibly thankful for my people this weekend and every weekend.

Austin and I installed this Wisteria wall at .co a few weekends ago for and all her clients! Beyond thankful for that install, that photographer, and my husband 💜

💜 🌿 I immediately said yes to doing this install for Lauren because she is donating her profits to . If you know part of my story, you’ll know that my daughter was in the NICU for 44 days after being born early at 32 weeks gestation. We participate in the March of Dimes walk with our family to celebrate how far we’ve come as a family of 3 but to also bring awareness to this amazing foundation that actually gives back! They advocate for the health of mothers during their pregnancy and birth, the babies, and their families.

•”We met at Winthrop University our freshman year, and started dating in 2018 our sophomore year. We got engaged in 2022 on my first cruise and first time out of the country! We have gone through so many things in 6 years as a couple (Covid, College, Graduate School, getting our dog Memphis, and long distance when I was at home in Charleston), and can’t wait to go through more as husband and wife! A little fun fact, we picked our wedding date to be September 21, 2024 because it’s the closest weekend to September 24, which will be 6 years together as a couple!”

“It’s been two years since Caleb came up to me at the gym and asked me on a date. We had our first date a week later at the Hare and the Hound and talked for hours, it felt like we had known each other for years already. I knew after that date, that wasn’t the last time I was going to see him. Since then we have added our sweet rescue dog Sam to our little family. These past two years have been a whirlwind of amazing adventures and experiencing lots of new good and bad things together. I couldn’t imagine doing it with anyone else.
