Maverick Knifeworks

This one is in its new owner’s hands so I had to post some more pictures.

8” santoku(ish) blade. Steel is canister damascus of 5160 spring steel and high nickel carbon steel.
Handle is African blackwood, nickel silver shim and Hawaiian koa

Finally finished this k-tip petty up. 4.5” blade of 26c3 high carbon steel, handle is patagonia rosewood with a copper accent.

This style is great in the kitchen for small detail work, peeling fruit/veggies and anything else where you need to get in close.

I’ve been bad at posting anything lately but I have been making knives! These are the most recent two I finished.

The first is a 4” blade of 8670 high carbon steel with spalted pecan handle. The second is 5” blade of 52100 high carbon steel with African Blackwood handle.

Finally finished this piece. Nakiri in raindrop damascus with a traditional wa style handle of wenge and box elder burl.
