Congratulations to DH Conley Wrestler, Thomas Brann!

We offer our congratulations to Thomas Brann, a wrestling, golf and club lacrosse student-athlete at D. H. Conley High School, who was awarded the Charlie Adams Endowed Scholarship by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA). He advanced to the wrestling state championships after a 2nd-place Big Carolina Conference finish. Thomas earned a 4.52 weighted GPA, is a certified CNA and plans to major in biochemistry at ECU.

DH Conley proudly announces Gil Broadway as the new head Wrestling Coach for the Vikings. Bringing a wealth of coaching experience, Coach Broadway’s tenure with the Conley football coaching staff has primed him for this role. Having previously coached football for thirteen years across esteemed institutions like Washington, Westover, and North Edgecombe High Schools, as well as lending his expertise to baseball at North Edgecombe, Coach Broadway’s multifaceted background enriches our wrestling program. A graduate of Washington High School, where he excelled as both a wrestler and football player, Broadway’s athletic prowess earned him recognition from Western Carolina University for football. Continuing his academic journey at East Carolina University, he now stands as a proud alumnus, ready to inspire our athletes to new heights.

DH Conley proudly appoints Jason White as the head Women’s Basketball Coach for the Vikings. With almost two decades of coaching experience under his belt, including the remarkable achievement of securing three state championships in Girls Basketball in West Virginia, Coach White brings a winning spirit to our team. His leadership was instrumental in guiding his team to the state runner-up position in 2022, boasting an impressive 22-4 record. Since relocating to North Carolina in 2022, he has seamlessly transitioned into the role of educator at a middle school while lending his expertise as an assistant to the Farmville Central High School boys basketball team under the esteemed leadership of head coach Larry Williford. The Vikings eagerly anticipate the positive impact Coach White will undoubtedly bring to the Athletic Department at DH Conley.

It's Playoff Time!! Conley will host the first round of the NCHSAA state playoffs in softball and baseball on Tuesday, May 7th. Softball will host Enloe High School at 6:00pm and baseball will host Cary High School at 7:00pm
