It's been years since I've been consisent with my photography so I forgive you for not knowing or remembering that I am, indeed, a photographer. Those closest to me know that I've spent this year prioritizing getting my gear figured out so that I can make a comeback. Well, the day has come! As of my birthday last week, I officially have all the ingredients to start whipping up some fantastic photatoes again!
I'm so grateful to the friends that have inspired and supported me in this process. Because I am financially invested now, I will be doing extremely limited trade work but it never hurts to ask/offer. My website will be launching soon and I hope that you'll peruse and enjoy what you see!
Hey! Hi! I'm just popping on for a quick life update. That's me in the photo, btw, not a photo by me. Lol. I know my creative output here has been non-existent for a while. Oops...
It's fine, though, because life has other plans sometimes. That being said, I'm making major moves to get back on my game and level up! There's a website in the works, several big gigs lined up for this year, and a few creative collaborations on the horizon.
I will be opening my books again soon! I plan to offer specific styles of portraits as mini sessions, and I will be putting out casting calls for TFP opportunities, so stay tuned in and maybe subscribe or opt in to notifications so you don't miss em!
You won't want to miss it....
As a photographer, few things are more exciting than seeing your work in print. I'm honored to see my photo of 🔥 Kena 🔥 on the pages of the March/April Sheen Magazine, a black culture magazine based here in SC. I feel beyond blessed for the opportunities afforded me when working with powerful women and fellow creatives. Credit for this shoot goes to Anthropoloca Jewelry for trusting in me to help represent her brand with such a vibrance! 🙌
I don't talk about it much online but photography really was my first Love and I miss the process so much! I've fallen out of the habit of having my camera handy, and I'm going to change that. Beyond getting reacquainted with my camera, setbacks of a technological and financial nature have deterred me from actively pursuing my ideas FOR YEARS. It's a slow and arduous process to bring my work to completion. There's talk of several exciting collaborations this year and I need to just get.it.together. This is step 1.
Someone told me recently that "closed mouths don't get fed and only hear the word no."
Last year I finally made my work available online for the purchasing of prints and stickers. The website is run by artists for artists and I think that's really lovely.
This is the link to my gallery: Even if you only look, I'd appreciate your time so much!

I'm also making a list of equipment needs and if anyone has a reasonably priced laptop recommendion, I'm all ears! I've only had hand-me-down laptops for years.
If any of you are interesting in supporting my work and would like to donate, my Venmo is .
I'll write more on this later but I'm interested in suggestions for how to make it happen!

I'm one that's happy to go without snow ❄️ and the bitter bite of winter, but even I can't deny the beauty of cool, icy blue tones. 💎 It's a whole mood. 💙
I'm hoping to create more in this new year. I have ideas, and it's time to make things happen for myself through my art. My perfectionism keeps me procrastinating, and I know I need to lean into creation for the sake of the process, not just the product. I'm thankful for the commercial projects that help pay the bills, but I miss going BIG, and for that I really need a team. MUAs, stylists, and general creatives... this is a call for collaboration! HMU.

Autumn has arrived and I've been ready. 🧡 This cool, cozy weather has me craving romps in the woods, and bonfires. Who doesn't Love sweater weather?!
This day with Corinne of was a lovely one. This songbird is one worth catching, catching a show that is. Her voice literally gives me chills. 💨🍂
A little light play with shapes. A series I'm looking to resurrect.
A to my college days. The assignment was to emulate an artist that inspires you. I knew it was my time to highlight the brilliance of Joyce Tennesson, who has unparalleled lighting technique.
This was shot in a private studio, with a professional (and stunning) model named Reven. The high key lighting combined with the soft folds of fabric really made this piece feel divine.
Some have likened it to the Virgin Mary with baby Jesus at her breast, which I Love because as you can see, there's no baby, just a breast! ☺️ This project was 100% an exploration and expression of femininity, with a dash of under b**b. 👀
It's so much more than a look, a light, a color. Power comes through a gaze, a glow, a deeply saturated experience.
Working with to show off the work of is always a highlight. These are a few of my favorites from our most recent work together. 🔥🔥🔥
It's always such an honor to help represent

You can catch my girl Jess slinging wares like these at the in Asheville this weekend! There's no finer statement than wearing a unique and colorful piece lovingly crafted by a local artist!
The greatest muses will shave their heads for you, let you pour paint on them, and paint them again and again because they believe in being the canvas. 🖤 At least in my experience. 😂
This brilliant snek is Charlotte. Thank you endlessly for pushing me to follow through on crazy ideas!
Nothing is more satisfying to me, as a photographer, than to manifest an idea on camera almost as quickly as it came to mind. My muse Charlotte always helps bring my visions into reality 🖤.
This really tested my patience in post-processing as we are extremely amateur body painters but alas, I am super pleased with the final result!
What does this image represent to you?!
When all this craziness passes, I'll be looking to do more work like this! Stylists/MUAs: hit me up if you want to collab. I have A LOT of ideas! 🤗
Models: if you're interested in booking with me in the future, DM me! Rates are reasonably negotiable. 👍

In recent years my photography has taken a backseat to other creative endeavors and this is a fabulous reminder that my craft is still appreciated!
Thank you Brittney for the opportunity to flex my skills, and for pushing my work out into the world. 🙏
