After living and eating in New York City for five years, I returned to my burgeoning hometown of Greenville, SC for a slower-paced life. FB has decided I shouldn't be able to run ads so to protect my opportunity to build income with collaborations and partnerships, I've had to create a new page. Christen Eats Food and drink
was the 2nd place in Greenville that I found when I moved back that felt like home. (1st goes to - they’re keeping it all in the family 🤣) I continued to find myself stepping through the doors on Pendleton St and then faithfully followed them to . I am so grateful for this place and the people who inhabit it. I’m very thankful for the chance to not only work with them but to feel part of the team. Happy belated birthday ! You’re the best! ❤️

If you haven’t hung out at at , you’re missing out on some truly amazing cocktails. This one’s called “I’m Not A Margarita.” It’s not a margarita but it’s got the same vibe, except it’s built with gin instead of tequila, , citrus, and other things I forgot about. It’s delicious. 🙌
I’ve been dreaming about the food at Perch since I went to their soft opening. 😍 Everything we tried from the poutine to the pierogis was delicious!
I loved how the cheese curds were slightly fried and the addition of sausage made this starter more like a meal. I’ve always been a huge pierogi fan, so I’m really excited to have somewhere in Greenville to satisfy that craving. Can’t wait to go back for the Haluski next time
If you haven’t been to Harry’s Hoagie Shoppe yet you are seriously missing out! I may be biased but they are some of the best sandwiches in Greenville. 🤤
My personal faves: Tommy Gunn, The Widger (pictured), Porchetta, The M.A.P., and the Italian tuna salad. But honestly you cannot go wrong with whatever you choose! 🙌

Is this not the prettiest avocado toast? 😍🥑🍞 This is my fave quick breakfast from at when I have a million things to do and forget to eat. 😅 Which has been happening a lot lately. 🫣 Owning your own business is cool and all but man, my boss can be a real witch sometimes 🤣 ||
Vacations are fun but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t so ready and excited to get back to this goof. 🥰
Honestly not over how delicious the Bean Jive from is! 🤤Black bean, sweet potato, and chickpea fritters with sauces to die for… and get this! MINT PICKLED GRAPES. 🙌 Don’t sleep on this new menu item (that’s also VEGAN)!
Had the most delicious dinner at the soft opening for ! 🤤 We started off with the wreckfish ceviche and hush puppies. The crispy corn was such a fun texture paired with the ceviche and the malt vinegar butter with the hush puppies was ridiculously tasty. 🤤
We shared the fish and chips and lamb sandwich. One of my favorite meals on my London trip was proper fish and chips. has done a wonderful job at recreating that experience right down to the mushy peas. (Loved their addition of mint) The roasted lamb sandwich really blew me away and was hands down my favorite dish of the evening. 🙌Don’t sleep on it just because it’s a seafood forward spot!
Their cocktail program is wonderful. I got the Lion’s Mane which had some lovely warming spices from the pimento dram - highly recommend! We also tried the Tongue Twister which was also delicious - if you love mezcal, this is your drink. I’m really excited to go back and try the rest of the menu, especially the Zombie on Draft.
And of course we couldn’t leave without the sticky toffee pudding we saw coming out to other tables. It was just perfection!
The service was outstanding! Our server made sure we had the best experience and was quick to answer our questions and tell us about their personal favorites. Overall just a wonderful dining experience. They are now open for reservations so hit them up and tip your servers well! ❤️
