WOW Ride Weather Update!
I hate to make the call to cancel. We’ve had such good weather for the past month or so! But it looks like the weather may be in that area around seven -and as we usually finish up closer to 720 to 730pm, I’m going to make the call to cancel the ride for this week. 😥. I will look forward to more WOW rides ahead though! Pass the word, ladies if you see this and see you all next time!

WOW Ride if it doesn’t rain, we ride tonight!! I am watching the weather and radar and will post around 5:00pm if it looks like we can get away with riding and not get poured on. please come back to super performance cycling fb page for an update!

Are you wondering if this ride for you??
1. Are you a woman on wheels?
2. Would you like an easy-paced ride with women for learning skills to ride in a group?
3. Does a 12mph average pace fit you for a hilly route? It can be a little bit of a challenge to make the pace or to stick to the pace, but we do it together- no drop ride.
4. If you are a beginner to group riding would you like mentorship from other women and to gain more comfort riding with others?
*It is recommended to have transitioned to clip-in pedals relative to the hills. It helps with the ups and downs- but there are no long climbs on the route.
5. If you are a seasoned cyclist, would you enjoy a nice social recovery ride to be with women and perhaps mentor other women?
6. I can think of more reasons to join us but join us!

Departing at 6:15pm from Freehub Bicycles in TR.

We’d love for you to join us- women
having fun riding bikes!

Team Supra Bars women and men took on the Carter County Omnium in beautiful TN!
Roan Mountain is a beast of a climb in the road race Saturday followed by a time trail later in the day. In the road race, Paige Yanity killed it in the Cat 4,5 Women with a 3rd place podium with Debbie Milne and Shannon Nicole Moore, 6th and 13th respectively in the Pro 1,2,3 Women. Gullet took on the Masters and Ludlow raced for 5th in Cat 5 Men’s race and both had a great race, finishing strong on top of Roan Mountain.

In the time trial later that day, Shannnon took a solid 4th and Debbie 5th.

Sunday was the crit- super fun course with a tactically interesting last 2 turns into the finish. Team member Gullet raced his first criterium in 20 years in the Masters race- a big shout out to him for stepping into one of the harder categories out there and taking it on full speed! 🔥

Paige started the day strong and rode an excellent race in the rain and finished 3rd in the Cat 4,5 Women🎉

Traci Carson joined Shannon and Debbie for some incredible teamwork executed with consistent attacks and covering counter moves. Shannon had a well-timed attack for several laps that might have stuck, the chase by the omnium leader eventually brought it back. With nothing going down the road, the finish was decided by group sprint. Traci made a bold move off the front with about 2 to go and held it until the final turn. It was so close for the win, but another rider made a jump for the win into the second to last turn to close the gap. Debbie covered and then won the fight for the final turn and was able to win it for the team. Traci finished her drive for the line to get 3rd🎉
As a team this was their first race to work together to execute a plan together- and they nailed the most important parts of it!
Thanks to the expert tactical advice given by team director Andrew Crater- truly a team win!!
Debbie ended up moving from 6th to 2nd in the Overall Omnium.
Great job to these women!! Go Team Supra Bars🎉
Thank you to all our sponsors who support us and support cycling!
Thank you USA Cycling officials and Carter County Omnium for a beautiful weekend of racing!

Speed Week Final Weekend La Grange and College Park- Traci Carson landed on the podium (again🙌🏼) at second for both races! Both these course are really tough and she raced both days on a pit bike - after a mishap with her shifter. So proud of how persistent and resilient Traci is -a calm but fierce competitor 🔥 Great job out there! And McEntire is right beside her in that category racing tough course in the Cat 2,3 men- congratulations to you both!!

Speed Week and USA CRITS never disappoints-consistently providing an exciting opportunity with a challenging variety of courses, great support, engaging commentary during the races- and a really nice purse to top it off! Thank you to organizers, staff, and volunteers for all the work each year to support crit racing in the US. We always look forward to this time of year🙌🏼.

Gran Fondo Hincapie Chattanooga🎉
Supra Performance Cycling Club arrived in numbers and absolutely enjoyed every minute of it! A little bit of light rain at the start didn’t get in the way of another beautiful and challenging ride in the great city of Chattanooga TN. We even ended up on quite a few podiums -so much fun to celebrate our accomplishments together!

Participating in Hincapie fondos is always such a special experience. There are so many extras added that it makes these events feel like a homecoming gathering for all kinds of people who just love to ride bikes together.

Congratulations to all who rode and persevered through a little rain to do their very best and to enjoy the time set aside to ride a tour around this incredible area. We really love the party on the grounds afterwards with an excellent post ride meal, drinks, laughter, and great conversations. We can’t wait for next year! Thank you for another great weekend in Chattanooga Gran Fondo Hincapie!

Spartanburg
Cat 3,4,5 Women:
Carson made a beautiful attack at one to go and held off the field for a win!
Cat 4,5 Men:
Atehortua also made a bold attack and landed 4th for an excellent finish!
Cat 2,3 Men:
McEntire
McEntire
Coughlin
Frauenholtz
Bourke
Big group and they had a great time racing together -looking good out there!
Pro Women:
Me- I had fun and got in the mix for the last 5 laps. It was a little bit of a mess, so I stepped back at 1 to go with the dicey moves. My excuse bingo card spaces read “not well” “dangerous riding” 😁

Athens Twilight:
Women 3,4,5:
Carson 8th in a big field of 25!
Cat 4,5 Men:
Atehortua
Cat 2,3 Men:
McEntire
Coughlin
McEntire
Junior Men:
Frauenholtz 3rd 🎉 and also raced and finished the fast-paced amateur shootout!
Pro Women:
Kitted up and couldn’t start because I felt so bad. There ended up being a big pile up, so part of me did not regret that part of it. I did miss racing in Athens as I’ve done it the last 13 years- hurt to watch and not be out there.

Peachtree Corners:
McEntire In on our respective categories, we took on the challenge of a 12% graded hill. He did way better than I- congratulations for toughing out that race Justin! I pulled at 3, completely accepting that I do not have it to race sick at this point in my life.

Also Sunday:
NC/SC Regional Championships:
Men’s TT aged based:
Kingdom with an excellent 3rd place podium 🎉
Simon killed it with a 4th place in Cat 3 Men 🎉
Moore had excellent racing as well with:
1st in the age based TT
1st in the road race
🎉🎉

And all that represents a lot of hard work, training, and showing up to give our very best. And also a lot of support through cheering us on and in capturing these moments through photography to give us all something to hold onto for memories.
Congratulations our club for how awesome you are all!

And a huge thank you to organizers and volunteers for all these events. And a huge shout out to our announcers Chad Andrews and Frankie Andreu who endlessly entertain and keep the crowd engaged and informed with all the action. And to USA Cycling officials and referees who mostly do this for the love of the sport!! Also we are so thankful for the livestream that allows our friends and supporters to watch from afar. These groups that run these events have the longest days of all- for all of USA CRITS and Speed Week. We appreciate you all❤️

Best time of year for racing -always will love these events!

What an incredible weekend of racing beginning on Thursday with the Greenville Cycling Classic! What an exciting event and a huge success for our cycling community and the city of Greenville🎉 The crit course was just beautiful and really festive with all the signage, banners, and finish line fanfare-A perfect set up for an exciting event! Thank you so much Hincapie Sportswear for all you have done to support cycling in our community👏

We also really appreciate the hard work behind the scenes of all the cycling leaders and advocates in the community who were able to bring Professional Criterium racing back to downtown Greenville. Thank you so much! And also a big thank you to City of Greenville, South Carolina Government!
