My client came to me with a gorgeous pearl she was gifted and asked me to design a simple yet elegant pendant for it. — I love how it turned out! A true classic, don’t you think?

I finished this ring before I packed up my studio several months ago, but I never posted it. Since we are in May, the birthstone month for emerald, I thought now was as good a time as any to share it.

Emerald is the perfect birthstone for May, as it bears the luscious green color of springtime, reminding one of re-growth.

The new studio and showroom is still under construction. My current, temporary studio is up and running and I’m slowly getting back to working at the bench. Things have been extra emotional and stressful for a while — And I am freakin’ ready for some of that May / Springtime / Emerald Green re-growth goodness in my life! 🍀

What a wonderful day full of laughter, love … and fire!!! 🔥 — Today was the first day I’ve taught a wedding ring workshop since closing up my old storefront. It felt SOOOO good to connect with wedding clients and to get my hands dirty again! —CONGRATULATIONS to Evan & Sana and THANK YOU for being patient while I got my studio back up in working condition! I wish you a lifetime of love and laughter! ❤️

This pretty little building is my OLD studio (2001-2019) — but I am currently cleaning it up and getting it back “in business” — the NEW STUDIO/SHOWROOM is still under construction and won’t be ready in time for an upcoming scheduled workshop, sooooo I have to get this pretty little building back up and running! — I am not thrilled about having to move equipment from storage only to move it again in a few weeks - but this maker solopreneur gotta get making again! ⚒️

Yesterday’s solar eclipse reminded me of my old “Reverse Radius” rings. — I used to make a fair amount of these many years ago. Wondering if I should bring these old designs back to life when my new studio is finished. What do you think?

And yes, the studio and showroom are still under construction. (You may have seen occasional updates in my stories.) Things are coming though. I am hoping to be back to work full time in May. — Stay tuned for more updates!

Mother + Daughter Bracelets. — This was one of the last custom projects I finished before I packed up my studio for the move. It was a several month long project and my sweet customers were very patient with me. I took apart their inherited jewelry, melted down the gold, poured ingots, rolled out sheet and wire and hand fabricated these new hinged bracelets from all their own materials.

I am really looking forward to getting back to the studio and getting my hands dirty again — but I still have 2+ more months of studio construction & medical treatments. In the meantime, I am designing, designing, designing — so if you want to create a custom piece, please feel free to reach out to begin the design stage!

An emotional BEFORE & AFTER…
My bench is now cleaned off and packed up. It will sit in storage for a few months while my new studio/showroom is being built and while I undergo surgery and cancer treatments.

I am feeling very fragile and full of emotions right now but I know that come springtime, everything will be shiny, new and happy. I am looking forward to closing this chapter of my life and to begin the next one!

I recently delivered this yummy cluster to my custom client. She wanted a unique cluster wedding band to hug her more traditional engagement ring. We used her family heirloom diamonds and sprinkled in some fancy colored sapphires. What do you think? I think it turned out lovely!

I have several custom projects and 2 Wedding Ring Workshops in January. Then I have to pack up my studio equipment and put it in storage while my new studio is under construction for a few months. 🔨

This situation is not ideal but it’s out of my control and…well, sometimes sh*t happens. 💩

I am happy to continue scheduling consultations, but please know that I can not resume any workshops or custom projects until the end of April. 💍

I recently delivered this lovely wedding ring set to my amazingly patient and sweet clients. I made her leaf-inspired engagement ring last fall and then designed both their wedding rings to match, using his family yellow gold for the leafy accents. I love how the two-tones turned out!!!
