"Christmas in August" choir event treats!
This was such an extra fun order to create! One, because the theme was whimsical and the requested flavors some of my absolute favorites. Two, because this event was actually for my church and the very choir I'm in!
The vanilla sugar cookies were 3 different musical ornaments. One hundred in total.
The stained glass cake was created through edible airbrush and black chocolate buttercream. The piano was made from marshmallow fondant. The flavor was my moist chocolate cake in 3 layers, filled with 1 layer of white chocolate ganache and 1 layer of fresh raspberry jam.
The musical ornaments cake was created from edible gold dust and airbrush through stencils and some hand painting. The notes were created from white chocolate, marshmallow fondant, and buttercream. The flavor was 4 layers of buttery lemon cake filled with lemon cream cheese filling.
Loved getting to celebrate this incredible choir at Praise!
Basketball Sugar Cookies!
I created these cookies a couple of weeks ago now (so behind on pictures again!), and loved trying a new technique on them. I used edible coloring in my new food grade airbrush to create a diamond pattern and shadowing. I thought it added a unique dimension to the design. ππ
New sweets delivered to The Southern Pressed Juicery! This week, they have sugar cookies, dark chocolate truffles, and mini lemon cupcakes. All gluten free. The truffles and cupcakes are also vegan.
They'll also be starting to supply these at The Southern Pressed Juicery's Verde location!! π₯³
Buc-ee's Birthday Cake!
This vibrant cake was so fun to create! The flavors were rich chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. I created the decor with marshmallow fondant, some edible "paint," a few sprinkle stars, and more buttercream. Everything was hand drawn.
New treats delivered to Southern Pressed Juicery!
It's been an amazing first 3 weeks joining with the Southern Pressed Juicery. Here are a few pictures of the sweets they purchased. Pictures 2 - 4 are the ones I just delivered for this weekend. All items are gluten-free, some dairy free, and a couple are vegan. Sugar cookies, cookies n cream cake pops, dark chocolate truffles made with cashew cream, chocolate peanut butter brownies, and peach cupcakes so far.
I am super excited to work with the amazing ladies of The Southern Pressed Juicery, and we're now talking about expanding! Stay tuned!
That's a wrap for Back To School cookies!
Wow, a record number of school-themed cookies flew out my door this afternoon. I got to see so many excited kids and parents today as they picked up their treats on this last day of summer break. I hope everyone has an amazing school year full of sweets, fun, amazing experiences, and lots of learning. Hear's to a GREAT year!
Tiger Mascot Cookies!
These 50 tigers were for a back to school teacher event. I was given creative liberties to just make a tiger face, and I had such fun making them smile! It was a rushed order, but I'm so glad I was able to create these. π―
Baby Shower Flower Cupcakes!
These are my favorite designs to date, and I love how the event's colors look all together! I used several different icing tips and frosting techniques to achieve the textures and variety of flowers. I only designed in buttercream. Half the cupcakes were chocolate and half buttery vanilla. The shower was for one of my friends, so I was especially excited to see her joy firsthand.

These blue & yellow cupcakes came in two different flavors: Gluten Free Mexican Chocolate Cake with Caramel Frosting, and Gluten Free Vegan Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Buttercream. The inspiration was yellow roses, two shades of blue, and blue chevrons. I gave them a modern twist and a touch of sprinkles.
French Bulldog Birthday Cake!
This sweet French bulldog was created from chocolate cookies n cream cake with both chocolate and vanilla buttercream. I used a combo of my marshmallow fondant and edible "paint" for the face details. More buttercream and a few sprinkles made up the flowers. So much fun for a sweet girl's 9th birthday!
"In My 11th Birthday Era" Swiftie Cookies! This set of birthday sugar cookies were so much fun to create! The birthday girl loves blue and all things Taylor Swift. I hope this was a birthday for the memory books!
SCR Shark Cookies!

Teddy Bear & Balloons Baby Shower Cookies & Cake! We can bearly wait π§Έπ
These sweet treats were some of the most special creations to bring to life! With a neutral & sage green palette, the wonderful customer and I chatted as a team to pick just the right inspiration pictures and design this adorable vision. The vanilla sugar cookies came in 4 different styles, and I used a few sprinkles and edible "paint" to highlight details. The tiered cake was buttery vanilla cake on the bottom and carrot cake on the top. Both were covered in cream cheese frosting, and decorated in vanilla buttercream watercolors, clouds, and leaves. The hot air balloons and teddy bears were marshmallow fondant, and the basket was solid white chocolate highlighted in edible gold coloring.
Patriotic Santa Birthday Cake!
Yes, you read that right: a Santa cake in July! One special Christmas-loving three-year-old boy had a birthday on the 4th of July. His mama drew me a picture of her vision (sharing the picture for y'all), and I created it with her drawing as a guide.
It was a vanilla cake in three layers of colors - red, white, and blue, of course - and covered in white almond buttercream. Santa and the flag were made from more buttercream, marshmallow fondant, and sprinkles.
Yellow Python Birthday Cake!
This golden yellow bald python was created from chocolate cookies n cream cake, vanilla buttercream, and completely covered in my marshmallow fondant. I highlighted and shadowed with edible gold color and food coloring "paint." Several layers of slithering sweetness ππ
Graduation/Entering College Cookies!! These cookies celebrated one special woman's high school graduation and her entrance into North Greenville University as a theater major. North Greenville recently announced their new mascot, so the request was to show it off in all its glory!! This logo was an exceptional challenge to keep consistent since I create all my work free-hand.
Swim Team Cookies! These sugar cookies were ordered for the coaches of the Woody Creek Waves. Logos are always a challenge, but I had fun bringing these requests to intricate life!
Happy Father's Day!!
This weekend, I took some time off to spend with my hubby and son, and enjoy some events together. I also used this time to experiment with a couple of new cookie cake recipes I plan to add to my ordering menu! π These were cookies n cream cookie cake with vanilla buttercream, and white chocolate lemon cookie cake with lemon buttercream. Look for these flavors (and more!) on my website shortly!
Vanilla Cupcakes with Strawberry Filling and Vanilla "Buttercream." These treats were made vegan and colored with natural coloring. I enjoyed taking creative liberties in designing these any way I desired. A healthier treat!
Two-Tier Gold & Rose Graduation Cake!
This pink, gold, and cream inspired graduation cake was made from both lemon cream cake and buttery vanilla cake, covered in vanilla buttercream. The golden cap was created from solid white chocolate, marshmallow fondant tassle, and brushed with edible gold color. The roses and diploma were marshmallow fondant, the sides covered in candy pearls, and the bottom edges and leaves piped with more buttercream.
Shark Birthday Cookies!
These ferocious sharks were made from CHOCOLATE sugar cookies and created for a shark loving birthday girl. The waves represented the family's love of white water rafting. A perfect celebration treat!
40 & Fabulous Cake with cheer!!
This cake was extra special for me, as I created this for one of my closest friends. She loves to sparkle, and it was fun to create a celebration treat tailored to her. This was a buttery vanilla cake with white chocolate ganache filling and caramel buttercream frosting. The decor was created from solid white chocolate disco balls, marshmallow fondant roses, buttercream details, and edible gold "paint." I then added flavored vodka shots for that extra boozy touch! Cheers to a fabulous 40!!
Broadway Birthday COOKIE CAKE!! Here it is, y'all, I'm officially adding cookie cakes to my menu, and this awesome girl got to have the debut! π The request: a "Loft House Sugar Cookie" cake (those round, frosted sugar cookies sold in grocery stores), decorated with inspiration from five different Broadway shows: Hamilton, Mean Girls, Anastasia, Sweeney Todd, and Phantom of the Opera. I included a vanilla cream cheese cookie to hold the stage. The decorations are created from milk chocolate, white chocolate, marshmallow fondant, and royal icing. The "Loft House" cookie is covered in the traditional vanilla cream frosting and rainbow sprinkles. SO MUCH FUN to create!!! And the birthday girl's excited reaction was the best part! π₯°π
Graduation cupcakes! These flower cupcakes came in four different flavors to celebrate one girl's fantastic achievement! Buttery vanilla cake with strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream, rich chocolate cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream, red velvet with cream cheese frosting, and lemon cake with lemon cream filling.
Dual Graduation Cakes!
Auburn University & Samford University graduates unite! Both were buttery vanilla cake, one had lemon cream buttercream and one with cream cheese frosting. The circles & accent borders are made from marshmallow fondant. I used two different techniques for the mascots: the tiger is a marshmallow fondant with buttercream tip designs, while the bulldog is "painted" marshmallow fondant.
