This is a bittersweet post for our family to share...but ultimately is nothing but good news! If you've supported our small business over the past 5 years and love our shop in downtown Greer, read on...

When our family bought Abbott's in Greer in August, 2019, we had no idea what the future held but we knew we were in for an adventure.

What an adventure the past 5 years have been!

Last year, our family encountered some disruptive health issues that made it rough to be as present for our team and in our business at Abbott's as we had grown to prefer. For the first time, we began to be open to the idea of our Abbott's adventure coming to a close and passing the torch to another family who would be able to maintain and build upon what we (with your support!) have accomplished over the past several years.

Today, we signed papers to officially sell Abbott's Frozen Custard of Greer to Chris and Nicole Campbell - we can't wait for you to meet them and their sweet kids! Chris and Nicole have become friends and are the perfect folks to hand off our shop. We know they will keep it a special place for you and your families for years to come!

The Campbell family will officially take over this coming Sunday, September 1. We hope you'll make it a point to show up and give them a big, supportive Greer welcome!

Our son, Hudson, is looking forward to continuing to be part of the Abbott's team. We (Mark and Amanda) will be in the shop as owners for the final times some both tomorrow and Saturday evenings. We hope you'll stop by for a scoop and to say hello!

We've had so much fun and have learned a lot and experienced so much through this adventure over the last five years. We'll share more thoughts over the next couple of days, but for now...
