Took the newly acquired BRN 180-S upper from Brownells out today. It is a piston driven system based on the AR-18 platform. Like the AK rifle, it doesn’t need the buffer tube and spring to operate. It shoots so much smoother and cleaner than a standard DI AR. It also has an adjustment to shoot suppressed or unsuppressed. Very impressed.

Installed a Midwest Industries chassis on a R***r 10/22 Takedown with an integrated suppressor. Feels pretty solid.

I was recently out training the next generation. Taught my friend’s son fundamentals and weapon familiarization. He was a quick learner.
