Pretty, but record breaking late season snow is not really what we are in the mood for today. So many tree branches are breaking in the woods.

Fluffy Shetland sheep
It's hard to get used to seeing the sheep naked after they were all sheared on Monday. Here's a throwback to 3 short days ago when they were at their floofiest.

Everyone is curious about woolly bears. Watch for the nose. πŸ˜†

Don't they just have the sweetest faces? This is Hazel (watch for the grass sticking out of her mouth - she always has some piece of greenery adorning her lips πŸ˜„) and little Moody. She's the one with the black face and is the only lamb from this year's babies that we've kept.

Cute little Pixie is only going to be with us for a few more days! She and her mama and another bigger lamb are going to a sweet new home next week. We always knew we wouldn't be keeping all of this year's lambs and couldn't be happier about the family they're headed to but we will miss seeing this cute little one bouncing around!

A little Sunday sunshine.

I love these woollies and they love snacks and chin scratches.

I thought our honeybees would like the lavender plants but lately it's just the bumblebees who have been loving these plants

Bees arrived! Give a warm welcome to our 10,000 new friends. πŸ’›πŸ–€πŸπŸŒΌπŸπŸ–€πŸ’›

The baby rabbits are 8 weeks old today! They moved out of their mom's hutch a couple days ago and are doing great on their own. They were so curious about their new house and spent lots of time jumping at the corners and digging in the hay. They're pretty happy here but this is just a temporary step to get them a little more ready to go to their new homes. One (maybe two) two still need a permanent home. If you're near us and want a very darling and well socialized purebred Holland Lop rabbit, get in touch!
