Happy October! We're excited to kick off the last month of the first season here at West End Farmers' Market! Thank you to all our patrons and vendors for supporting us throughout our inaugural year! Lots of great things coming this month; another special chef's demo, some live music, pumpkins and fall gourds! Lots to enjoy this beautiful Autumn month, stay tuned! The West End Farmers' Market will be closed this Sunday for Hackettstown Wide Oktoberfest Celebration!! That doesn't need to stop you from staying local and shopping small! Some of our awesome vendors will be set up for the event so make sure to stroll through town all weekend long and see some awesome vendors, artists, local restaurants, and of course, what's Oktoberfest without beer? Make sure to stop at and for a beer or two!
We will be back October 8th to ring out our last four market days of the season! We look forward to seeing you all! Prost!

From carnivorous plants to wicked succulents, thorny citrus and night fragrant flowers. Join Patrick of Well-Sweep Herb Farm for an interactive presentation showing off the most wicked of windowsill plants with fragrances and flavors you've never experienced. Learn how to add these creatures to your window and some tips and tricks for success. Plants will be available for purchase after the presentation. Well-Sweep Herb Farm is home to one of the largest collections of potted herbs, tropicals and perennials in the world, collecting the unique cultural stories and uses of these herbs as well.

Bio:
Patrick McDuffee is the 3rd generation of Well-Sweep Herb Farm, a plant nursery and farm located in Port Murray, NJ with several gardens and greenhouses that are open all winter. It houses close to 2,000 varieties of herbs, tropicals and perennials, one of the largest retail collections in the country. Patrick studied under and continues the knowledge of renowned lecturer, Cyrus Hyde, his grandfather. Patrick brought with him a B.S. in Biology from James Madison University in 2012, giving him a deep scientific understanding of the ethnobotanical stories passed down to him. His passion for medicinal and exotic culinary herbs has continued to expand his knowledge which he loves to share with others.

These smell amazing!! Made with pumpkin puree, pumpkin extract and natural essential oils like clove and nutmeg. Some spooky pumpkin soaps too for the little ones 😊 or adults 🤷🏻‍♀️
